If you have taken EWS certificate in march of 2022, in the certificate it will be mentioned that you belong to Economically weaker section in the financial year 2021-2022. Because a financial year is from April of some year to march of it's next year. But, you are now entering to college in 2022. So, you must have a certificate for financial year 2022-2023. So, you must take new certificate after April 2022.

I would say you that please take a new EWS certificate after April. Otherwise you would not be considered for EWS category.

You haven't mentioned your category but with the given rank is difficult to get seat in top institutes in Computer Science Engineering regardless of your category. The cut off for Computer Science Engineering is comparatively less, to have decent chances to get seat in CSE in top institutes your rank must be below 5000.
