Hello,
The situation which you have mentioned, is that only you can give answer for it because every students has their mind set in some of the things that what they have to do in future, in your case if you think that you can do some thing better in your family business and also you are interested with that business than you should go with that or else if you have a particular scope that you start with your business and you have to excel it than you should go with your further studies according to that, i guess this might help you little while taking a decision for you.
Thank you..
Dear,
textile engineering is a relatively new and leas opted branch.
It has the lowest placement average salary among all other branches. The average placements are around 5 lakhs and the highest being upto 10 lakh. Most students go for consultancy, analyst or coding profiles. Most of the students of textile engineering that goes for coding profiles are going for the non-core companies like TCS, etc.
Textile technology in IITD is not good as the name and fame of the institute.
Hope it helps!
Hello aspirant,
It is suggested that instead of pursuing textile engineering in CET, Bhubaneswar, rather pursue chemical in IGIT, Sarang. See, this is because by pursuing chemical engineering, you can go to various types of industries such as pharmaceuticals, food processing, cement, iron & steel, fertilizers, petroleum, gas and many more. You will have a lot of opportunities being as an engineer or as a researcher, if you choose chemical. But on the other hand, in textile engineering, though there are opportunities, you cannot go to various industries, will just get up ended at one type of industry which is tiresome. It depends wholly on your interest in which branch you want to pursue in your career, else both the courses have opportunities and have good salary as well.
Hope, it helps you.
