Textile Engineering
Dear Aspirant,
Congratulations for cracking the JEE main examination.
You have interest in particular three Colleges:
1) National institute of technology, Jalandhar
2) National institute of technology, Hamirpur
3) Indian institute of engineering, science and technology, shibpur
According to the infrastructure, hostel facility, faculty, liberary, laboratory facilities etc All Colleges are same.
Because these colleges have national importance.
NIT, Hamirpur is comparatively new college.
But NIT, Jalandhar and iiest shibpur is very much old Colleges.
If you want to bag a good package then you can opt for iiest shibpur.
It is a very much good College.
You can definitely opt for it.
Best of luck.

Hello aspirant. Both the branches textile engineering and textile chemistry are better in their own way.It depends on your interest to choose which branch is best.It is purely depends on your interest to choose which branch is better. For more details visit the official website.
Yes with this rank you can get admission in textile engineering very easily as it is not among the core branches hence it's cutoffs are very low. You may also get the course in lower NITs due to your category reservation.
You can predict what colleges you might get with this rank by going through the link of college predictor tool given below.

Hello Monica.
To be very fair your question is a tricky one. If you go with IIT Delhi textile engineering then it is not going to help you during MBA but still it will provide you a Tag of IIT for your placement. If you go with NSUT CSE it will help you in many ways during your MBA but now no tag.
Think a little more and then take any decision I suggest you to go with IIT Delhi .
Good luck
Hello Bhawya,
In order to gain admission in the course of Textile Engineering you must meet the eligibility criteria for the same.
A 10+2 pass out with minimum 50% aggregate marks in physics, chemistry and Mathematics is eligible for B.Tech Textile Engineering.
It is a 4 year long course just like other engineering branches and is composed of 8 semesters ghat includes two semesters per year. This course is offered by many universities and both theory and elective subjects are to be studied here. You can apply for the course of textile engineering at the following colleges -
However if you wish to gain admission into IITs or NITs then you have to give entrance examinations and obtain the minimum required cutoff for eligibility for the course.
I hope this helps.
You have not mentioned which entrance exam you are talking about and not mentioned which college you want to take admission. Cut off varies for different exams and for different colleges. All the best for your btech career and hope you have a bright and promising career in near future.
Thank You
Hey Chirag
Firstly, congratulations for making up to this level!! You have got quite good options. For comparing amongst the 3 options, you need to set your priorities. It means what would you prefer, say for example branch vs location. You should search for the insights of the branches open for you and choose the one which interests you, then only you could excel in that field. Location wise, my preference would be Mumbai for definite reasons, say proximity for example. According to the statistics, NIT Srinagar and Uttarakhand have been the same and ICT is ranked better, and ICT has the lowest fees amongst the 3. But the closing rank for ICT is the lowest which indicates that the other 2 options have better academic records. All 3 of them have almost all the basic facilities. While the NITs are institutes of national importance, ICT is a deemed university. Again, it depends on you whether you consider this point to be important or not.
I recommend you to think about all the points and consider the important ones. Feel free to contact us for any further queries.
