If you wish to get into another college through JOSAA counselling then you have to cancel the admission you have applied through TNEA counselling. By this process you may not get all the money in refund from the college of TNEA but yeah! you can do it. And for the admission through JOSAA you need to have a Cancellation certificate from the college and you may have to submit that in your college through JOSAA.

You are talking about TNEA application form. As of like JEE , NEET exams there won't be any correction windows for TNEA.

So, to rectify the correction, you can visit to the TFC center which is nearby to you, and tell your query. They will rectify your problem. While visiting the nearby TFC center, you take your Aadhar card with you.

They will give a correction form in which you can edit the information which you needed,( you can edit the category of school). The edited information will be changed in the TNEA website within 2-3 days.

TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission) Counselling is conducted DTE ( Directorate of Technical Education) and its centralised processed for admission in Bachelor of Engineering program based on 12th scores and candidates are shortlisted for top private and government colleges in Tamilnadu. TNEA is applicable only for Tamil Nadu Candidates. Other states Eligibility criteria are listed below.

• He or she should have appeared either 8th, 9th ,10th 11th or 12th standard any equivalent examination from Tamil nadu recognised boards.  They have enclose Nativity certificate which is electronically or Digitally signed E - Certificate generated from government officials of TN.

Unfortunately you cannot change the uploaded documents in TNEA Counselling registration form because the authorities do not provide the facility of correction window and without correction window you cannot make changes in your registration form. So in this case you should contact the competent authorities they would help you with this issue. Also do this as soon as possible because on August 24th counselling registrations will be closed and then it would be much difficult to resolve this issue.

Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions(TNEA) is conducted for filling the engineering seats in Tamil Nadu. But, admissions in TNEA is based only upon the cutoff marks and not based on the percentage scored in 12th class.

The cutoff for TNEA is calculated is as follows:

Cutoff = M + (P/2) + (C/2), Where M denotes for maths marks, P denotes physics marks and C denotes for chemistry marks.

The authorities will release the application form on the official website tneaonline.org. The officials have not yet declared the dates for the release of the application form.
