Based on this you have decent chances of getting seat in St. Joseph's, Sri Venkateshwara, Kongu Engineeing College and tough chances of getting seat in other colleges listed above. tnea stands for tamil nadu engineering admission , the tnea counselling is conducts by anna university. around 500+ colleges of tamil nadu participate in tnea counselling process. counselling is based on 10+2 course score, and there is no entrance examinations. the education eligibility criteria is Candidates must have passed HSC (Academic: both +1 and +2) or its equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together. for marine engineering course candidates need to secure 60% marks aggregate in pcb. Further a minimum of 50 % in English either at 10th or 12th standard.
now for other state candidates you must satisfy any of the below mention criteria of nativity to become eligible for tnea counselling,
Children of Central Government Employees (irrespective of their native) whose parents have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past 5 years
Children of employees in Public Sector or Government recognized Institutions who at the time of submission of application for admission employed in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years
Children of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers
Other State candidates who have studied VIII, IX, X, XI and XII Std. in Tamil Nadu

It is difficult to tell you the exact cut off of this year but we can predict cut off by seeing the last year cut off for Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering, Kalavakkam. The last year cut off was 170 for MBC category for Computer science and engineering course in Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering, Kalavakkam.
