iam 10th failure so can I do the course tourism hospitality

Hello Aspirant,

Yes, You can even study tourism and hospitality without passing 10th. There are many institutes that offer short-term courses/ diploma/ certificate that do not require you to pass 10th. These short term courses, diploma and certificate courses focus more towards practical aspects like; customer service, front office, housekeeping, culinary basics, etc. You can plan to start with those courses, gain some practical experience and grow in the industry. Some programs even allow you to study while you are working.

The BBA at IITM is a program designed for students interested in careers in tourism, travel and hospitality. It offers a practical, industry-focused curriculum along with internships and good practical exposure in areas such as Aviation,tour operations, hospitality services etc.

In terms of placements,the result vary by campus. The Gwalior and Nellore performance shows the best performance with the highest packages around 8-12 LPA and average salaries between 4-6 LPA.The Noida and Bhubaneswar campuses offer average packages of 2-3 LPA. Top Recruiters include Make my trip,Thomas cook, IRCTC,Yatra and various travel startups.while full-time placements are more prominent at Post graduate level (MBA)

IITTM has strong industry ties but students are expected to be proactive and skill-driven,as the institutes provides solid exposure but career growth also depends on individual's interest and adaptability.

The Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Awadh University provides 3 years of bachelor's degree in B.Voc Tourism under MTA department with certificate for 1st year, diploma for 2nd year and finally the bachelor's degree in 3rd year.

The important dates are:

1) Direct admission begins (17 June 2025)

2) Counselling (7 July 2025)

3) Classes begins (2nd week of August 2025)
