can i give sbi ja exam with graduation from ugc recognised university

shivamtrivedi0005 19th Sep, 2023

Hii There,

There is no fixed percentage criterion for graduation to qualify for the SBI Clerk exam. Candidates need to have completed their graduation from a recognized university or institution to be eligible to apply for the exam. Nevertheless, they must have achieved a minimum of 50% in their Secondary and Higher Secondary Level Examinations.

I hope this answers your question.

Thanks

Hello Aspirant,

Hope you are doing well.

According to its charter, the University Grants Commission (UGC) is mandated to take all efforts necessary for the promotion and coordination of university education, as well as for the setting and maintenance of standards in teaching, examination, and research at universities.

Institutions that are deemed to be universities are designated by the Central Government, on the recommendation of the UGC, by a notice issued under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956. The UGC (Institutions Deemed to be Universities) Regulations, 2016, which specify the criteria, standards, and eligibility requirements for declaring these institutions as universities, may be found at https://www.ugc.ac.in/pdfnews/2128779 DU Regulations-2016.pdf.

For more details visit: https://www.ugc.ac.in/FAQ_uni_clg.pdf

Hope you got the answer to your question. Incase of any queries, feel free to question. Have a great day!
