how to apply for master degree in uk ? procedure ? & wths the best after BPT to work over there under NHS or should take HCPC course ??

Moumoyee Chakraborty 20th Apr, 2022

Hey Aspirant!!

If you are planning to opt for Master's Degree in United States of America then you need to have a clear thought regarding the preferential colleges and keep yourself updated with the application form of the college. Mostly your admission will be merit based followed by uploading your supportive documents and then complete the form fillup successfully. Coming to the work after B.PT course because you are a non-European physiotherapist looking to work in the UK, you must first apply to the HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council). They will look at your background, including your educational qualifications and academic records. Your post-graduate degree will be scrutinised in particular. Finally, they will inquire about your physiotherapy experience, and an international career in this field will increase your chances of being selected, so your physiotherapy experience will be most important at this stage. After the interview, they'll compare it to the UK's requirements to see if you're qualified.

Hope it helps!!!

Dear Aspirant, In your case there can be multiple problems as, you are a final year student, transcripts up-to final year are a mandate and may be a provisional certificate too. Program relevancy also important, so you should go through the college eligibility criteria and documents to be shown at application time

how to do ms general surgery in uk after completing mbbs in India?

Karishma Sawhney 5th May, 2022

Hello aspirant

With the PLAB exam, applicants can pursue a postgraduate degree in the United Kingdom after completing their MBBS in India. It's a requirement for GMC registration, which is required in the UK medical system. It's a certification exam that determines your eligibility for registration with the General Medical Council (GMC). It does not award a degree. It solely registers GMC applicants. The PLAB is conducted in 2 parts- PLAB 1 and PLAB 2.

Kindly note that IELTS exam is compulsory with a minimum score of 7.5.

Hope it helps!

which is easy to get medical license among USA, UK and Australia?

pri111nah 26th Apr, 2022

Hi,

No country is easy to aquire a Residency position. All countries require doctors and all of them have shortage, what you should think is where can you see yourself after 10–15yrs if you think USA is better for you go for it, if you think UK is better option go for it. Anywhere you go, you will have to give a huge dedication to get yourself a Residency position may it be - USA/UK/AUSTRALIA.

PLAB is easy, yes PLAB can be considered easy to other entrance exams but there are limited training positions for British students itself leave apart imgs, even if you get one the training is apx 6–8 yrs long ,in near future you can face VISA issues UK ain't giving citizenship easily to anyone.

Thinking about AUSTRALIA, the AMC exam is difficult and the situation here is again the same like UK, the img doctors are rising than the Australian doctors, who would like to see their country filled with foreign doctors and minimum national doctors, but again this shouldn't stop you because you can be the exception if you want to all you need is determination and hardwork.

Thinking about USA, yes the process is tiring 4 exams, so much of expenses no guarantee of getting a interview , few spots in fancy branches for img's, but this isn't what should be looking for ,look if you like usa, do you like their education, their healthcare system can you live your life in that country if you can its a great option but if can't you got a lot of time spend it on thinking and Making the right decision .

Finally considering a option to make on my opinion, I would suggest w.r.t easy to get medical license  -

USA>UK>AUSTRALIA

Hope this helps.

Good luck.

Moumoyee Chakraborty 6th Mar, 2022

Hello Aspirant

Warm wishes for your Pearson Test of ENGLISH Academy score. Although scoring in the range of 65-75 would have made your admission possibilities higher but overall probability is that you will get admission into some good institutes with this score as well, however there are some other factors you need to consider to boost up your selection chances,

  • a letter of recommendation
  • reference from a professional personnel
  • your extra curricular activity as well

Hope it helps!!!
