is it advisable to take mba in university of madras for 2021 ? how are the placements and opportunities there ?

S. Saha Student Expert 29th Sep, 2020
The MBA course curriculum in Department of Management Studies, University of Madras, Chennai is pretty good. When it comes to ROI, then the rate is really high as the course fee is quite low. Professors and faculties are highly qualified and skilled in their own field. Coming to placement records, companies such as TVS, Pepsico, Indiamart, HCL, Axis Bank, Bharti Airtel, City Union Bank etc recruit MBA graduates from this college. All the facilities like separate hostels for boys and girls, well equipped library, cafeteria etc are provided. Adding to this, University of Madras has been ranked at 43rd position by NIRF among the universities of India. So you can go for MBA in University of Madras as the placement percentage is pretty good. http://dqxeclau.top/university/university-of-madras-chennai/mba-course

With a GOOD PERCENTILE IN CAT , TOEFL and ACCA with correspondence B.sc Accounting degree from OXFORD BROOKES UNIVERSITY and B.Com from University of Madras (distance education) will I stand a good chance in LIBA? I do not have a regular stream Bachelors degree.

Sushmita Singh 18th Sep, 2020

Hi Joshep

There is high possibility that you might get admission into LIBA. But nothing can be told with complete assurance. The best way to find out is that you should try contacting the college authorities and get your query answered directly by them.

You can open the official website of LIBA and there will be a pop up box for help there you can ask your query and provide your contact details and wait for their reply and then you can be sure about it also.

Hope this helps!! :-)

Hai. Could anyone explain whats the difference between regular and self supportive MBA in University of Madras?

Shabya singh 24th Jul, 2020

Hello

Supportive MBA  courses started by colleges without financial assistance from the government in any form. Which means, all the expenses of the course including tuition fees, laboratory maintenance, salary for teachers are to be covered by the tuition fees from the students.

In regular or aided courses , part of the expense is covered by financial assistance from government in form of grants and also by UGC (University Grants commission). So the only difference between the two courses is the variation in fee structure.
