Cucet is common entrance examination for university. And punjab university take part of it. Last year cutoff of MSc in molecular medicine in punjab university was 30 percentage for OBC category candidates.

So if you get minimum 30% then you will get easily this course in punjab university. This is very reputable and good university.

Now come to the molecular medicine subject. This is very interesting course. It's mainly focused on scientific tools mechanism aspects of different disease. It is helpful for diagnosis and therapy both department. You can do so many job like

  • You can do research on hospital, colleges, universities.
  • You can go for teaching.
  • You can work in research dissemination.
  • Also you can go for practical and clinical work in laboratories.

Cut off varies from year to year.You can check past year cut off to understand it trend. Generally cut off increase or decrease with 1-2%.

Various factors that affect cut off marks:

1. No. of candidates who applied for course

I got 35 marks in botany can i have any chance for central university of punjab or kashmir 2020

Hello student

For admission in Central University is done on CUCET qualifying marks. You have got 35 in botany. Perhaps you are applying for undergraduate courses.

For undergraduate courses there is qualifying marks for botany subject  is from 33 to 30.

But for MSc botany courses qualifying marks for Central University through CUCET is 73.5 to to 70 percentile.

Yes, central university of Punjab will be a good option to choose to persue you higher education. In the year 2017, students reviews were average and had no much development in the College. But According to 2019 reviews of the students, the College has best Infrastructure, best faculty and placement guarantees have been improved.
