I have a different surname in class 10th marksheet(surname: Roy)and class 12th marksheet(surname: Ray) , and while filling up the neet ug 2022 form they ask for the class 10th marksheet, so will my NEET form be rejected ?

ginnisachdeva02_9364270 Student Expert 20th Apr, 2022

Hi Aspirant!

There are very low chances that your form will be rejected on the basis of difference in last name. But for the safe side, I will suggest you to correct your documents, you can do it by visiting your school. School management will definitely help you out with your issue. Also, you can reach out directly to the CBSE website.

Thankyou!

sir i got 369 marks in neet i belong to ap so is there any chance to get a govt bds college in ap in mop up round belong to bcd category

Anurag Khanna 26th Apr, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

See it is quite difficult to help you with the exact list of colleges as the counselling is yet to be concluded and the cut-offs keep on changing every year but yes we can provide you the list of colleges that you can get based on previous years cut-off data.

So according to the data, on such marks and category you have very less chances for any of the government BDS college but you have good chances of getting Private dental colleges in AP under state quota according to previous year's cut-off.

As we go through previous year's cut-off then it shows that you have chances in following colleges :-

KIMS Dental College, Amalapuram

CKS Theja Institute of Dental Sciences and Research, Tirupati

Sibar Institute of Dental Sciences, Guntur

GSL Dental College, Rajahmundry

And some more. You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

NEET 2021 Cutoff AP: College-wise & Category-wise Cutoff (careers360.com)

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor because it will make you comfortable while choice filling in counselling :-

You can check out complete details regarding NEET qualifying cut-offs from the link given below :-

If you are preparing for NEET 2022 then to help you in binding up your preparation we have test series which you can access from the link given below :-

I hope this information helps you.

piyush singh 18th Apr, 2022

Hello Aspirant ,

Yes , choosing CUCET /CUET as an Backup option for JEE will be a very good Idea as you will have option to join some of the best colleges of India after qualifying CUCET such as Hindu college , Hansraj college etc .

Also having a backup option will reduce your stress and completely solve any last minute admission problems , also Some of the syllabus of CUCET(fir science courses) will be same as JEE but easier and it will be very easy for you to clear this exam .

Hope this helps.

i didnt have filled up jee mains form thats why I am not able to give that exam so it will affect for taking admission in in engeneering college or not

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 17th Apr, 2022

Hi

Yes, it will affect your admission if you don't fill up jee main application form.

This is because,

Jee main is the most widely accepted entrance examination for admission in B.Tech including top colleges like NIT IIITs, CFTIs etc so if you don't apply for JEE main ,you won't be able to take admission in these colleges so I would suggest you to apply for JEE main. Otherwise if you want to get admission in a college which conducts its own entrance examination like VIT than no need to worry even if you don't apply for JEE main

Don't worry even if you have not applied for JEE main 2022 first session, you can still apply for JEE main 2022 second session when its application form gets released .

while filling up neet ug 2022 application form, i calculated ICSE class 10 marks out of six subjects meaning out of 600 marks. payment has been completed. do i need to worry? should i fill up form again? please answer fast.

Sharon Rose Student Expert 16th Apr, 2022

Hello,

You have to enter overall percentage of marks obtained in Class 10th. If the total maximum marks of all six subjects is 600 then you do not have to change anything. If the total maximum marks are not 600 then you can change the total percentage obtained in class 10th in NEET UG 2022 application form when the correction window is opened. As of now the official date for correction is not announced. So wait until the correction window is available. You do not have to fill another application. The correction facility is a one time facility so you can change the details only once ensure that all the details in the application form are correct. To make the corrections you need to login with your login credentials and make changes where ever necessary and submit the application. Please check the updates from time to time on the official website
