The maximum age limit for UPSC is 32 years. However there’s relaxation for OBC, ST/SC caste.
So if you’re not from General caste then you’re eligible for UPSC 2023.

You will be eligible to write UPSC exam regardless of what degree you choose. Yes, an engineering degree might be slightly more demanding and you might find it hard to devote time for preparation whereas the latter might not be. But it all boils down to what you want to do in future. If you find one of these more interesting you will be able to complete the degree easily. Also, you might need some technical knowledge on your area of choice so think carefully about your interests and choose wisely. Make sure that the degree you have holds some meaning and value to you personally and professionally. Your degree might also end being your alternate career option.

UPSC Food Inspector exam is government’s exam. It can conducted both state level and national level. .Food Inspector exam conducted by both MPSC and UPSC.

Here's some additional information about the exam -

Age - Candidates aged between 18 and 25 age are eligible to for the post of Food Inspector.

Educational Qualification -

• Bachelors degree in science stream with chemistry as a compulsory.
• Graduates in medicine with one year training in food inspection.
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology or Dairy Technology or Public Health or Veterinary Science or Pharmacy or Agriculture.
• Or any equivalent degree.

Candidates will be selected based on performance in written test and interview.

Paper Pattern -

1) Numerical Ability

2) Science Subject

3) GK questions.

4) English language test.

The duration of the exam will be 150 minutes. There is negative marking for incorrect answers.

To be eligible for UPSC candidate should have a Bachelor's degree with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering from recognised university. So if you have the above subjects in your BFA course you will be eligible for UPSC. The UPSC has released the UPSC IAS 2022 eligibility criteria in its official IAS 2022 notification.

YES, you will be eligible for appearing for UPSC exam by 2024. This is because the age limit eligibility criteria for UPSC exam is 21 years to 32 years. Thus by 2024, your age will be 21 years and thus you can give UPSC Exam in 2024.

The key to success in UPSC is a good foundation. Now what you can do is to start studying the NCERT books from class 6-12 for the basic subjects such as History, Geography. As you are in 10th, you may not feel comfortable with other subjects. But you can surely read this two subjects and can be ahead in track with the preparation. See the ideal time for the USPC preparation is after your 12th or during your graduation. By that time, you will be experience enough to study subjects like Economics, Political Science etc (if you have this subjects in your 10+2, then it would be an advantage. If you don't have this subject, then it would be of no problem, you can always start learning this.). So don't take too much pressure from now. Still if you want to prepare, prepare well the Geography and History subjects from the NCERT books.

In response to your question, NO, you are unable to take the UPSC exam 2023. Because a candidate must be between the ages of 21 and 32 in accordance with the UPSC's eligibility requirements. Furthermore, they have to be born between August 2, 1991, and August 1, 2002. You are ineligible to take the exam since you were born on 3rd May 1991.

But that's based on the notification for 2022.

2023's notification has not yet released.
