To become a cbi officer you must pass the combined graduate level examination(CGL) conducted by staff selection commission in every year. It is 4 tier examination which includes two online objective type exams and one descriptive type using pen and paper.

After that there is document verification. The eligibility is as follows-

1- To become a sub inspector in cbi your age must be between 20-30 years.

2- Must have a bachelor degree from a recognised university.

The pay scale generally stays under 34k for a sub inspector and for an inspector it is under 45k.

For some candidates it takes 2 months and for some it takes more than 5 months.So overall it depends completely on the authority that when they will carry out the refunding process.Once they start the process you will surely get it within 4-5 working days.

The entrance examination for degree level engineering institutions and other professional colleges has been assigned to Dr A.P.J. If you did not get a seat in the counselling (or selected freeze before allotment) and now have withdrawn from the UPSEE counselling procedure, the fees will be refunded back to you without any deduction. The refund takes some time to take place, and the amount will be reflected in your bank account within some time, which may be as long as 7-10 days.

Float option is chosen by a candidate if the candidate accepts the seat that has been allotted to then but want a higher preference seat in the subsequent rounds of counselling. The float option ensures that if you get your higher preference seat in further rounds, you will accept that and your previously allotted seat will get cancelled and if you do not get a higher preference seat then in that case your previously allotted seat remains with you. You needn't fill the already allotted seat for 3rd round because for the third round of allotment you are looking for higher preference seat which will be in the order that you filled out your choices. Your already allotted seat wont get cancelled if you do not get a higher preference seat in subsequent rounds.
