I believe that you’re talking about BIET, Jhansi (Bundelkhand Institute of Engineering & Technology). The institute offers 2-year full time MBA program and it’s affiliated to Gautam Budh Technical University (GBTU), Lucknow.

The institute takes admission on the basis of state-level combined entrance exam conducted by GBTU and MTU (Mahamaya Technical University) Noida. There is no mention of UPSEE MBA exam on the official website.

Every institute has its own cutoff criterion to shortlist the candidates for admission process. If you qualify the UPSEE MBA exam meeting the cutoff criterion of IET Lucknow, you will be called for the selection rounds. The cutoff marks depend on various factors including number of candidates appearing for the test, difficulty level of the test, availability of seats etc.

Dear Gopal, the candidates who score marks more than the UPSEE Cut Off 2018 are eligible and called for the counselling process. The AKTU last year Cut Off  percentage of marks to qualify the exam:

• General/OBC: 25%
• SC/ST: 20%

Candidates scores should meet or should be higher than the releasing cut off to get admission into college of their choice. Candidates, those meet the cut off marks, only they are eligible for the further procedure.

You can check UPSEE website to see previous year's ranking for college's intake for students taking admission via counselling.

Generally, for HBTI Kanpur.. general rank ranges from 1~300 for different courses.

While to opt in any other courses.. you still need a rank < 700~1000 with or without any quota.

P.S. :- as you have asked for how much score is required in UPSEE exam, then for a safe side your score should be around atleast 440~480.

Hello Mayank , I think Bundelkhand Institute of Engineering and technology has not earned that much reputation which is necessary in MBA department plus the placement activities aren't good enough and unsatisfactory .Also level of education is not up to mark, even more disturbing is the faculty behavior , they do not give much focus on explaining Particulars to the students , they only give tutorials and assignments which is not enough for a MBA pursuing student . 

Therefore , I would say you should go for some other reputed colleges in comparis on to this .
