is this much more beneficial to do job in india than in USA or other countries i means does it differ in salary or anything?

Ankur Dubey Student Expert 30th Oct, 2020

Hello

If you are comparing it with facilities and salary then yes usa is better than india . But it become difficult to save in usa because it is very expensive and many people can't survive.  So if you get upper level job then it is good otherwise settling there is not every ones cup of tea.

In india finding job is not very easy and not much hard . The only difference is facilities provided in not better and income is low . If you have a good degree and have a good education then you can get a decent job and the expense here is less in compare to other country untill you are in main cities like mumbai , delhi..

Good Luck

how can i get a job in abroad from India. i mean in other countries like USA, Canada , Italy etc after btech and which course should i take for it and which course is better to get a job in abroad. plz answer my que soon

Reeyaa Saxena 30th Oct, 2020

Hello. First of all, if you have some kind of experience in your educated field then switching on abroad like directly to job would be easy.

If you are fresher then consider yourself to pursue higher studies from USA,UK,CANADA etc. And then based on that educational  get a job under work permit.

UK can save your one year because masters is 2 years generally but in UK its 1 year and then you get 2 years work permit. So   it's up to you, check for the courses related to your field. In abroad all fields are good. So just check where you can perform well.

Hope that helps!

how can i apply for job in USA as petroleum engineer?

Vipul Chaudhary 25th Sep, 2020

Hi there!

Probably the best bet is to seek out positions at an American company doing business in your area: Chevron, Exxon, Schlumberger, KBR, Halliburton, etc. Once you have worked there for a bit, you can either transfer internally to the US or float your resume to friends who now know you in other companies.

Good Luck.

If a student from Jadavpur university has 3 years gap between 12th and btech as he had a serious health issue during the 2 years gap for which he had to take another drop for appearing in WBJEE,still will he not be placed in top companies and can he go to top universities of USA for Mtech or MS?

Soumili Majumdar 11th Sep, 2020
Hello there,
It depends on your result whether you will be placed in the top companies or not. If you can maintain a good result throughout your course, you will definitely be called for interview by the top companies visiting the college. During the interview, they may ask for the reason behind that 3 years gap. Keep your medical certificates and other documents ready. Then it won't create much problem. You just need to answer them the reason behind that long gap. Same goes for the Universities as well. If they ask anything about this, you can provide them the necessary documents.
Hope this answer helps you.
Good luck!!

Suppose koi Candidate Wbjee ka Initial Round ma 40 no. Choice ka college mila , job o candidate 2nd Round ka lia Upgradation karaga kaya usa 40 No jo choice ka college haa Ussa upar ka hi milaga or 40 No sa vi down ho sakta haa.

S. Saha Student Expert 7th Sep, 2020
You can arrange your choice of colleges in two designs that is college wise or Branch wise. What I'm trying to say is that you can arrange your choices like this- You can put the colleges name keeping a particular branch constant or else you can change the branches keeping the college constant. It is always advisable that the top ranked colleges are to be put above the average and less ranked colleges. Now suppose your total number of choices are 50. Now after first round of counselling you have been allotted to choice number 40. If you go for Upgradation, there are two possibilities available-
  • You'll be allotted to any of the colleges above 40 if there are availability of seats.
Or else,
  • You'll be allotted to the same i.e. 40.
You'll never get the colleges which are under choice number 40. Cause you have passed their criteria, and you have been allotted to a certain level. Now it's not guaranteed that you'll definitely get a college above 40. You'll only get that college if there's availability of seats. Hope you have understood.

what is the procedure for admission in MIT USA

Sajid khan 8th Oct, 2020

Hey sanjiv,

Firstly, if you wanna get into American university you need to write this test called the SAT. The test is for 1600 marks. You can write the SAT any times you want. There is no limitation.

Then you can write the SAT Subject Tests. Only a few ivy league colleges require you to write the Subject Tests. Write these only if you get a really good score in the SAT i.e. above 1400 or 1450.

Then after getting your results for the SAT(and after you are satisfied with) you need to write another test which is the TOEFL (since you are an international student).

After you get the results of both the SAT and the TOEFL you will have to start applying to colleges before their deadlines (usually in the third week of november or 1st week of december). You will have to submit an application to the university that you are applying to. Your application should have your 10th class reports and your 11th class reports (ask your college/school). Yes, American colleges don’t see your 12th score but you have to do well as they might reject you later because of your score. Try to get around 80%. You need to submit an SOP(Statement Of Purpose) which an essay describing your achievements, your plans and basically everything about you (SOPs are really important). Then you will have to have LORs (Letter Of Recommendation) from your teachers. Some colleges need it, some don’t. After you submit the application with all your test scores, reports and certificates to the universities you will get your results on the month of March(mostly, but depends on the college). This is really important: American colleges give equal importance to extra caricular activities. So if you only have good grades, don't expect to get into some colleges. You need to give them all the certificates you earned too and write about your achievements in the SOP.

If you are accepted into the college then you can go ahead and find out how to join. While going through the VISA process you need to submit a bank statement to the ambassadors.

I hope you query is cleared

thanks for asking

stay safe

I want to practice medicine in the USA after completing an MD in India. When do I start preparation for USMLE as it comprises of 3 steps?

Sreeja Siva 27th Sep, 2020

Hi,

The exam is conducted in three steps. The Step 1 is meant to assess the  understanding of students in applying the important concepts of the sciences basic to the practice of medicine. it mainly emphasis on principles and mechanisms underlying health, disease, and modes of therapy. It is a one day examination which is conducted in 8 hours. The practise materials and sample tests are available in the official website. Candidates are advised to go through the instructions and test papers before the test. The official site is

https://www.usmle.org/

Please go through it to understand the exam patterns.

Step 2 is for testing the clinical skills of candidates. This include a bility of examinees to apply medical knowledge, skills, and understanding of clinical science for the providing proper patient care under supervision, and emphasis on health promotion and disease prevention.

Step 3  emphasis on patient management in ambulatory settings.  It is the final examination in the USMLE sequence leading to a license to practice medicine without supervision. It is comparatively easy than other two. I suggest you to prepare yourself for the exam along with your studies rather than preparing after completion of course. Use the academic environment to enhance your knowledge and also your skills. You should know the basics and should focus on enhancement of your skills. Use the official website for further details.

all the best.
