Im scoring around 601 marks in NEET 2021 according to Allen answer key. Im from Uttar Pradesh and general category. What are my scope of getting medical college here??

riteshkandpal499 16th Sep, 2021
Hello aspirant
Hope you are doing well
It is difficult to predict the cut off marks or ranks but according to previous year trends your expected rank would lie between 19277 - 24026 but it may vary every year depending on the following factors
1. Level of question paper
2. Total no of candidates
3. Category of candidate
4. Total no of seats
5. Marks obtained by students
Here is the link for the expected marks vs ranks
https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-result-marks-vs-rank
So as a general category candidate ccording to previous years the cutoff marks for government college in up colleges are as follows :
1. Autonomous State Medical College, Basti - 611 marks
2. Government Medical College, Badaun -614
3. Government Medical College, Jalaun - 618
4. King George's Medical University, Lucknow- 657

So you have less chances to get seat in government mbbs medical colleges. But you can go for bds or Pvt college
Here you can check the previous year cut off marks
https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-up
You can use college predictor tool to know about the colleges you can get

Hope it helps

i am frob obc category of uttar pradesh.. i am expecting 525 marks in neet can i get government college

Sriya Bose Student Expert 16th Sep, 2021
Hello Aspirant!

According to previous year's (2020) trends, the cut-off marks for government medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh under the 85% state quota for OBC candidates have been in the range of 606- 649 with a corresponding rank range between 4000-16990 . In 2019, the range was between 573-629 with a rank range between 2800-15300. If the same trend continues this year too, then you have very narrow chances to get admission into government college through state quota. However you are eligible for various private colleges which have a lower cut-off.

i have scored 450 marks in neet, OBC, UTTAR PRADESH. what is the probability of getting admission ?? If not, plzz suggest me some colleges

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 15th Sep, 2021

Hi

It's quite difficult to predict because cut off  depends upon various factors like

------------) number of students that appeared in the neet exam,

------------) kind of marks obtained by them ,

------------)  toughness level of the neet examination

------------)  number of seats available etc

When we go through previous data then

With 450 marks,

You hold  a  low chance in a Government Medical College

For example,

in neet  2020, 606 marks for obc category was the cut off marks  to get a seat in Govt. Medical College   under UP  state quota and it was for Autonomous State Medical College and Associated Teaching Hospital, Bahraich

You can check the same at

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-up/amp

You have chances in private medical college under UP state quota which are listed below with their 2020 cut off for mbbs seat  :-

----------)School of Medical Sciences and Research, Greater Noida :- 448 marks

----------) Rohilkhand Medical College & Hospital, Bareilly:- 388 marks

----------) Muzaffarnagar Medical College, Muzaffarnagar:- 385 marks

And a few more

You can check the same at

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-up

Above prediction is on the basis of past year data but  cutoff keeps changing every year depending upon many factors as mentioned earlier, so to have a clear picture of the colleges in which you have chances and

to get the complete list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at

It gives you a personalized report with top college in which you have chances for admission , with the help of predicted colleges you can make better choice while filling your choices of colleges during your counselling

i will score 520 in neet 2021 from UR catagory Uttar Pradesh. can i get a bams seat in bhu??.. or any govt bds college in up????

rajeevanand843 14th Sep, 2021

Hello

BHU is one of the most prestigious college to read in BAMS course. So it's cut off goes very high.

Last year cut off for Gen category in BHU, BAMS was 598 marks & AIR 20615. In 2019 it was 563 marks and Air 18957.

So you will have to come under 20k rank to have chance in this college.

At your marks ranks will be higher than this. So you will have no chance BHU, BAMS.

In uttar pradesh you have rare chances of getting govt BDS college at this marks.

Although you have pretty well chances of getting other govt BAMS college through state quota counselling.

Use NEET UG college predictor tool to know your other admission possibilities for MBBS, BDS & Ayush courses.

I am getting 595 in neet 2021 ...obc category and belong from Uttar Pradesh...is there any chance of getting a government college?

rajeevanand843 13th Sep, 2021

Hello

First of congratulations for scoring such a good marks.

Now if we talk about Uttar Pradesh last year cut off for OBC category then it was AIR 17483 & 605 marks.

So according to analysis of these year Neet question paper cut off may drop some what then last year although it's not fixed as results have been not declared.

So you have chance of getting govt college if this year ranks improve little bit at your expected marks. So wait until the results get declared then it will be more clear till then you have very good chances.

So hope for better and pray
