Dear applicant firstly if you focus on individual subjects you would find, Both Mechanical Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering are valuable branches of B.Tech. But considering the present scenario the Placements of ECE branch is somewhat better, now focusing on the Institutions National Institute of Engineering is overall a good college but the campus life may not be that pleasant. You have tk work hard to get accustomed to their environment, coming to VidyaVardhaka Institute, there you would get immense support from the Faculties, they would indulge you into research activities. Placements of ECE branch is flawlessly conducted every year, with initial Package around 4-7 LPA. https://dqxeclau.top/colleges/vidyavardhaka-college-of-engineering-mysore
Hope it helps you to decide!!
In my opinion you should go for EEE in NIE Mysore.
I'd suggest you to go for EEE in NIE. It's NIE's core branch. ECE, Mech, CSE are the best at NIE. Seats never go unfilled. When you don't know about your interest, remember that college name matters. I'm not very sure about the facilities provided to students of VVCE. NIE has an amazing department. They are working with many new technologies and we always see the students doing their surveys. Over that, NIE is ranked among the top 100 engineering colleges in the country including IIT's and NIT's.
But if you are confused, here are some tips - If you're good at mathematics try computer science and if you're good at physics join EE.
If you're looking for placements, I prefer EEE at NIE. Though number of core companies visiting will be limited you'll stand a chance in many other companies with decent packages. Note that Vidya Vikas Engineering College is bad college in terms of placements, number of companies visiting every year is relatively small when compared to that of NIE.
If you're not really into survey work or working in the field or playing (experimenting) with circuits, join computer science.
On the whole, I prefer NIE EEE over VVCE CSE.

Hello student,
Sorry to say you but actually you have not mentioned about which course you are talking about.
But see Vidya Vikas Institute of Engineering and technology is a good private Engineering College with NAAC B+ grade in Mysore. The course fee of bachelor of technology is near about 2.5 lacs. The overall curriculum is updated and the infrastructure and facilities are too good here. The placement average package is of about 3 lakh per annum. There are other courses like Mtech MCA and MBA. You can go to this link below to know more
On the other hand AMC engineering college is also a very good private Engineering College with NAAC grade B++ situated in Bangalore. The course of bachelor of technology costs about 6 lakh to 7 lakh. The average salary package is from 2.5 lpa to 4.5 lpa. There is some seat problems in hostel. Otherwise all is good here.
So I think between them AMC engineering college Bengaluru is the best because it have higher rating in NAAC and also the the salary package offered is bit higher.
To know more about this college you can go through this link
VVIET, Mysore is a private NAAC B+ accredited, affiliated engineering college of Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi . The college offers admission on the basis of COMEDK UGET , KCET scores to various UG engineering courses. The college have moderate infrastructure and well equipped labs. The faculty strength is good. It has usually a good placement rate for most of the subjects, but in the session 2019-20 the percentage drops which can be a concern. But in the next session its steadily around 75% in average. So in terms of placements its good. So if you wish to take admission in this college, you can definitely go for the college.

Hi Aspirant, hope you are doing well. Firstly I want to get a more detailed version of your question as you haven't mentioned your local/non local status, reservation status. So based on the "Open Category" rank vs marks cutoff trends from previous years in AP-ICET exam I want to mention you that it is quite difficult for you to acquire a seat in Gayatri College, Visakhapatnam. However you may opt for any lower rank colleges.
Thanking you
Yours faithfully
