i got 166 marks in met and 97.4 percentage in board exam can i get manipal campus in cse branch

gopi 22nd May, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

Given your MET score of 166 and a board exam score of 97.4%, you have a reasonable chance of getting CSE at the Manipal campus, though it will definitely be a little competitive. In the last few years, CSE in Manipal usually has a cutoff of around 170-180+ in MET. However, a high board percentage should help marginally in tiebreakers or merit-based ranking.

Even if you do not get core CSE, there is a fair chance of a related branch like IT or Data Science at Manipal or CSE at the Jaipur or Sikkim campuses. I would watch out after the counselling rounds, cutoffs tend to vary slightly each year.

Hello!

Yes you are eligible for the CUET exam. However, to know about the test subjects required for admission in a particular program of your desired universities, please visit the official CUET portal. You can find all th necessary and relevant details in the CUET website. Your subject combination will provide you a lot of scope, for example, you can think of pursuing a course in Nutrition, or you have even opt for Biotechnology. Another good career course can be B.Sc Nursing.

Hope this helps! All the best.

Greetings!

Yes, you can. MIT WPU may consider science students for B.Com. Transition may pose challenges, but your interest and commitment matter most. Adaptability and extra efforts will help bridge gaps. Explore prerequisites and contact the admissions office for specific guidance.
