My NEET score is 483, AIR - 100245 UR, from West Bengal. This was my 3rd attempt. should I take a drop or take a private medical college ?

Sree Student Expert 19th Feb, 2022

Hello Shayan,

It is difficult to determine exactly the chances of getting seat in Colleges for your NEET UG score. But based on previous year's cut-offs I'm providing information. I suggest that to go with Private Medical College rather than wasting one more year as it is your 3 rd attempt.

Cut-off changes from year to year and depends on many factors like

1. Number of seats available.

2. Difficulty level of the exam.

3. Number of students appeared in the exam.

4. Caste Category of the students.

You have chances of getting Management quota seat in below mentioned Medical Colleges for your NEET UG score, based on previous year's cut-offs.

Jagannath Gupta Institute of Medical Sciences and Hospital, Kolkata

I scored 535 in NEET 2021 XM , from West Bengal. Can I get government MBBS College in AIQ or State.Q ?? im from General background.

Sree Student Expert 17th Feb, 2022

Dear aspirant,

It is difficult to predict because cut-off changes from year to year and depends on many factors like

>>>Difficulty level of NEET UG exam

>>>Number of seats available

>>>Number of students appeared in NEET UG exam

>>>Category of the student

Based on previous year's cut-offs it is difficult to get MBBS seat in Government Medical Colleges in West Bengal for your NEET UG score. You can try for Private Medical Colleges as well. But you can apply for Government Colleges for both All India Quota Counselling and State Counselling, if you can get seat then you are lucky.

I Have DELHI domicile. I did my CLASS 11 and 12 from delhi.. So i am eligible for internal delhi 85% state quota as a GENERAL candidate. But i am a SC category student from WEST BENGAL. So my question is will i be considered as an DELHI SC since i am already a part of delhi internal quota .

Sanjali Shukla 15th Feb, 2022

Hii,

Hope you are well.

No, you will only be included in 85% quota in Delhi and will not be  included as in SC category, vice versa you will be considered as SC in West Bengal and your 85% quota will not be valid in West Bengal.

Hope it helps.

Thanks.

I AM A STUDENT OF WEST BENGAL DOMICILE. IF I SEAT IN NEET UG FROM A CENTER OF RAJASTHAN, SHOULD I STILL ELIGIBLE FOR WEST BENGAL STATE QUATA?

Anurag Khanna 7th Feb, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

See if you have been allotted a seat in NEET UG AIQ counselling and you do not join it and take an exit then you will be eligible for further rounds of state quota counselling of West Bengal. But note that once you join the allotted seat in any of the counselling either that is of All India or it is of state quota, then you will become ineligible for all further rounds of all NEET UG counselling.

So if you want to appear for further rounds of counselling of then you should not join the allotted seat so that you can take part in another counselling.
