Being unreserved candidate and parmanent resident of West Bengal since 100year ,what type of domitial certificate will be needed for NEET UG 2021 for WB state quota for admission?

Subhrajit Mukherjee 18th Jan, 2022

There are three proforma's which you need to download from the website of West Bengal Medical Council and by filling it you have to sumit the documents to the District Magistrate/SDO office and you will get the certificate within some time.

You need not have to fill all proforma's but have to fill the one, which is applicable to your case. The criteria for the different proforma's are provided below:

  • Proforma a1: Residential/ Domicile Certificate for candidates residing in the State of West Bengal continuously for at least 10 years
  • Proforma a2: Residential/ Domicile Certificate for candidates residing in the State of West Bengal continuously for at least 10 years, where the candidate has passed 10+2 examination from West Bengal
  • Proforma b: Residential/ Domicile Certificate for candidates NOT residing in the State of West Bengal continuously for at least 10 years, but whose parent/s are permanent resident/s of West Bengal and having their permanent home address in West Bengal, and living continuously for at least 10 years in West Bengal.

Hello, I want to Know that how many marks(minimum) in Neet 2022 do I need to get a government medical college seat in West Bengal. My caste is SC . And I am a West Bengal Government Board student.

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 17th Jan, 2022

Hi

It's quite difficult to predict  as cut off keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like

*********  number of students that appeared in the neet exam,

********* kind of marks obtained by them ,

********* toughness level of the examination

********* the category you belong

********* number of seats available etc.

But when we go through previous year trends then,

In neet 2020 ,  452 marks for sc category was the cut off marks/ lowest marks  that got an mbbs seat in a govt college  under west Bengal state quota and it was for Coochbehar Government Medical College and Hospital, Coochbehar

You can check the same at

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-west-bengal/amp

So, for your Neet 2022 Examination you need to target   at least around 475 marks to be on the safer side.

Follow the below tips to prepare well for your Neet 2022 examination

  • Follow routine to avoid wastage of time

  • Make sure all your studies revolve around reading practicing question and revision

  • Practice is the key, solve MCQs in each chapter

  • Stress and focus more on NCERT especially for biology

  • Solve previous year question paper and mock papers of neet.

To prepare well you can go for our neet program at the convenience of your home, the link for the same is provided below :-
