monstwerdash 7th Dec, 2021

Hello there ,

Hope you are doing well . I'll firstly list the Colleges in Kolkata that you can get through AIQ with the AIR that you have got :

  1. IPGMER and SSKM Hospital,Kolkata
  2. NRS MC, Kolkata
  3. CNMC,Kolkata
  4. RG Kar MC,Kolkata
  5. Sagar Dutta MC and hosp,Kolkata

As you mentioned that you have WB domicile , you can also get Medical College,Kolkata through WB state quota counselling.

Also note that I have not mentioned the peripheral colleges that are not exactly situated in Kolkata, but you have a chance of getting those too based on previous year's closing AIRs. If you want the name of those colleges too, please mention in the comments.

Now,the colleges that you can get in Mumbai are :

  1. Dr. R.N. Cooper General hospital,Juhu , Mumbai
  2. Lokmanya Tilak Municipal MC, Mumbai
  3. Topiwala National Medical College, Mumbai

Please note that the above lists are given with respect to general category candidates.

Hope my answer helped.

i have scored 516 in neet 2021 . My all India rank is 71013 and my obc rank is 31013 so can i get government MBBS seats in bihar aur west bengal

Aniket Das 6th Dec, 2021

Hello aspirant,

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get  seat or not as  cut off marks/rank for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc. As you  mention with 516 score and from OBC category you have low chance to get seat in government colleges in MBBS.

can u plz tell me what gnm and anm rank in West Bengal required for government colleges in ews category

Sourav Sarkar 6th Dec, 2021

Dear Aspirant,

GNM and ANM conducted by WBJEE is meant for Nursing courses. Both government and private institutions participate in the counselling process. For general candidates, GNM(GMR) should be under 2000 and GNM(AMR) should be under 1200. As you are of EWS category, EWS rank of 250 or GMR OF GNM should be under 5000 and for ANM, EWS rank should be under 150 and GMR should be at least under 2700 to stand a chance for securing a admission in government colleges. Hope this helps. Wishing you all the best.

MY Home Town is in west bengal. my neet UG all india rank is 54052 and ews all india rank is 8004. please let me know that I am eligible to get admission in MBBS in govt. medical college through ews certificate? and if not then in private colleges govt qouta I want to take admission?

Kashish Saxena 5th Dec, 2021

Hello aspirant,

To get government college for MBBS in West Bengal in EWS category one need to get rank under 35k. But you score lesser than required. Therefore you have less chances for getting admission in government medical college. However you can get admission in private medical colleges under government state quota.

But remember that cutoffs changes every year due to various factors such as number of students attempted exam and number of students participated in counselling and, difficulty level of exam, reservations and more. So nothing can be predicted with certainty until the official announcement of cutoff.

Got 313 in NEET 2021,AIR 322270,Category Rank 101621.Can I get govt.colleges of BHMS in West Bengal.I am from WB and belong to General Category.

ADRIKA mONDAL 4th Dec, 2021

Hi,

In accordance to your NEET 2021 marks which is 313 ,getting a seat in BHMS in West Bengal as you belong to the general category. According to the previous years reports the cutoff for the General category were from 419-571. So through your marks getting a govt college of BHMS in W.B is quite difficult. Nevertheless you can try to opt for private colleges for a BHMS seat which might be quite possible also through management quota .Hoping for the best. The private colleges may include

Pratap Chandra Memorial Homoeopathic Hospital & College

DN De Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital
