Can i get a Government MBBS seat in West Bengal in neet 2021 by scoring 510 marks

Kuheli Sanyal 27th Sep, 2021

Hey,

Based on previous year data, with 510 marks you may get a rank between 83522-91757. You can also predict your rank using NEET Rank Predictor https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-rank-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_rp

Since you did not mention your category, I am assuming you are from general category.

According to second round West Bengal Counselling 2020, the closing rank of government MBBS seat was 36907. The closing rank of state quota MBBS seats in private medical colleges was 40435.

It is quite difficult to accurately predict your chances this year, since cut offs and ranks vary every year depending on the difficulty level of the paper and the performance of the students. Something confirmed can only be said after you get your NEET 2021 result. For example, in 2019 with 510 marks the corresponding rank was around 43000 while in 2020 with same marks, the rank inflated up to 80000.

You can get a list colleges in which you may get MBBS/BDS seat by using NEET College Predictor https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_cp

I live in West Bengal not a Maharashtrian. I have completed my BSc honours in chemistry but I want to get admission in lateral entry BTech so what is the process of admission and please tell me the syllabus?

suchayitaanusaha 26th Sep, 2021

Hello,

If you are admission in West Bengal then okay. You are completed in BSC in chemistry but entry lateral in BTech which is not possible in anywhere dear.

If you want to join lateral entry in engineering course you have to diploma course in engineering subject. Like ece diploma or eee diploma then you can join BTech lateral in 2nd year. Otherwise from chemistry honours you can't entry dear.

All the best.
