Hello Dear,
There are many colleges under WBJEE. For Jadhavpur University you need to get a rank under 1500, If you are going for Electronics, CSE, Mechanical, Civil, Instrumentation etc., then you need a very decent score, your rank should be under 600–700. But, if you want to get in IT, Power, Printing, Construction -etc then scoring under 1200–1500 will be enough. Jadavpur University is a State University of West Bengal and thus the admission is done through WBJEE, Jadavpur university doesn’t take admissions through Jee Mains. Go through the below-provided link where you can check previous year cutoff rank for Jadavpur University:-

Hello Sir,
See if your son is an OCI card holder but have passed his class 12th from West Bengal then he will be eligible for Home state quota of West Bengal and he will be considered under General category as there is no any particular reservation for OCI/PIO candidates. As per the information brochure of JEE-Main 2021 released by National Testing Agency (NTA) "The State code of eligibility of OCI/PIO passing Class XII (or equivalent) examination in India is same as of Indian nationals. However, OCI/PIO passing the Class XII (or equivalent) examination from an institution abroad are eligible for Other State quota seats or All India quota seats (but NOT for Home State quota seats) in all NITs, IIEST and other-CFTIs".
For complete details about JEE-Main 2021 reservation criteria kindly check out the link given below :-
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-reservation-criteria
In WBJEE also there is no any reservation for PCI/PIO candidates, they have to take admission under General category.
Some insights of JEE-Main 2021 :-
> To qualify for JEE Mains, there is no minimum aggregate percentage criteria and also if you want to take admission into NITs, IIITs or CFTIs then you should pass in your class 12th. Because as per the latest announcement made by our Hon'ble Education minister Mr.Ramesh Pokhariyal Nishank, the 75% criteria has been removed for upcoming year 2021-22.
> Also from this year according to New Education Policy the JEE-Main examination will be conducted in English, Hindi and other regional languages such as Bengali, Gujarati, Assamese, Kannada, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Odia and Malayalam.
> In JEE-Main 2021 there will be total 90 question out of which you have to attempt only 75 (25 from each section) and there will be two sections for each subject, Section-A will be of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs)(20 compulsory questions) and Section-B will contain Questions whose answers are to be filled in as a numerical value (10 numerical based questions out of which only 5 are compulsory to be attempted).
> In Section B, candidates have to attempt any five questions out of 10. There will be no negative marking for Section B.
> All question will be of 4 marks and in MCQs there will be negative marking of (-1) on incorrect attempt.
This year JEE-Main is being conducted with slight changes in it's pattern and it's conduction and you can check out all the changes from the link given below :-
https://engineering.careers360.com/exams/jee-main
I would suggest that you sit for all the three exams. This is because, you never know which exam would have questions that you are familiar with and you know the answers to unless you attempt them. Doesn't matter if you have not prepared that well for JEE Mains, but still give the exam. What if by some luck the many questions are asked from the topics you have prepared and you qualify it with a decent score, then You will have more options with JEE Mains in the JoSSA councelling.
SO appear for all the three and give it your best.
You still have time. Practice as many previous years papers as possible.
Good Luck
