iam up obc category studend and I got 105 marks in wbjee, can I got admission in jhadhavpur University with cse branch

shankhalikamallick 18th Dec, 2020

Hi there!

Congratulations on your marks!

Computer Science & Engineering/ Computer Science & Technology cutoff 2019 for round 3 for general (wb ) student was 103 rank. OBC-A cutoff for Jadavpur CSE was 456 rank. OBC-B cutoff for Jadavpur CSE was 304 rank.

You have specified your marks to be 105. Which means that your rank will be around 4000. If that is the case, then you will not be able to get a seat in Jadavpur.

You can however try and get a seat in other government colleges in West Bengal like JGEC, KGEC etc. For more details please check the following site;

Hope this helps!

Thank you!

Hello!

You don't have a upper age limit. There are certain criteria but that is mostly related to the marks that you have secured in boards. Apart from this inorder to apply for these exams you must have born on or after 1st July 1999.

Yes, you are an eligible candidate to appear for these entrance exams. Greater the age higher is the priority generally.

Yes, 2021 candidates are also eligible.

ALL THE BEST. Hope the answer was of some help.

Thank You

how many mark we get in wbjee to enter in jadavpur university cse

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 24th Jan, 2021

Hi

This is a bit difficult to predict the marks  required in WBJEE mains to get a seat in jadavpur university  as cut off rank keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the WBJEE examination , number of seats available for the branch you want etc.

When we go through previous year trend then ,

In wbjee 2019 , 107 was the cutoff rank for general category to get a seat in Jadavpur University for BTech in computer science

You can check it at our page the link for the same is provided below

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/wbjee-cutoff/amp#referrer=https://www.google.com&csi=0

And 107  rank is around 185 marks, you can check the same at

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/wbjee-marks-vs-rank

So, to be on the safer side try to get at least around 190 marks in order to get into computer science in Jadavpur University

Now,
limited time is left for wbjee 2021 , so focus on your preparation, to prepare well your jee examination, go through chapters first and your focus should be on grasping concepts , practising questions and then revising them, go through mock test paper sample papers and previous year question papers as it will let you know your preparation level and and weak areas so that you can work on them and perform well in your wbjee examination.

If you have any other doubt then you can always reach us to clear them :) we are always available to help you out and guide you

Thankyou

The domicile critera for WBJEE states that you should have been a permanent resident of West Bengal for 10 consecutive years as on December 31, 2021.

You are also considered eligible if your parents are permanent residents of the state with a permanent residential address.

However , if you don't fulfill the above criteras then you cannot appear for WBJEE.
