See it is possible to again apply for wbjee, if your 12th score is good and wbjee rank is decent you may get the chances to get admission in government colleges or tier 1 private engineering colleges. however during the placement time you would not eligible for  some tier 1 mncs like tcs, cognizant, wipro etc because of your year gap. however if you have decent academic skill and cutting edge technology knowledge you may get chances in start up companies. so  think wisely before choosing career in engineering filed.

Being a Non Domicile, you may face high competition as well as high cutoffs when compared to your Domicile friends at Jadavpur University Counselling. You need an AIR of around 350 in WBJEE to secure your seat in Mechanical Engineering at Jadavpur University. The cutoff marks change every year. It's depends upon number of students that appeared in examination, number of seats available in colleges, difficulties of question paper, etc.

According to previous years cutoff you need to score 1734 rank in wbjee to get CS in Jadavpur if you belong to SC catagory.

Previous years cutoff rank for WBJEE:-

General - 107

SC - 1734

ST - 4795

OBC - 456

I think it will not be possible this year. This year  there is no enough time to take 3 rounds of counselling plus one mop up round.

This year WBJEE results are going to declare late so there will be no time to declare the result of 3 counselling round with one round of mop up .

Unfortunately, CSE is not available at this level. Except for CSE, all other branches, with the exception of CS, IT, and ECE, can get this level in Heritage and IEM.

If you simply want CS, Techno India Salt Lake or Jalpaiguri IT are good options.
