If you have got your choice of institution within the first counselling itself & you do not wish for further upgradation, then you have to physically be available for the document verification only once while taking admission into the college. If you have applied for upgradation & you have been allotted a seat in some other college after the upgradation, then you might be called for another round of document verification by the other college.
