My name is Shaik Yasina, and I have qualified in APICET 2025 and will be attending counselling soon. I am writing to seek clarification regarding one of my academic documents. My Transfer Certificate (TC) issued by my degree college contained a clerical error in my caste category, which was manually corrected by the principal. The correction was done by hand and is duly signed and stamped by the principal

Samriddha Pal 14th Jul, 2025

Hello,

If your degree college Transfer Certificate (TC) has a clerical mistake in the caste category that the principal manually corrected, with the correction properly signed and stamped, it is usually deemed acceptable for the APICET counselling process, as long as there is no discrepancy between the caste listed on your official caste certificate and what appears on the TC.

Nonetheless, as counseling authorities frequently favor documents that are pristine and devoid of errors, it is highly advised that you have an affidavit detailing the clerical mistake and the rectification done, in addition to your original caste certificate provided by a qualified authority.

Moreover, if feasible, ask your degree college to provide a new corrected TC to prevent any avoidable issues during document verification. Acting in this manner will guarantee a seamless counselling process and reduce the likelihood of document denial.

Hope this helps. All the best!

If you have not prepared for CAT 2025 and OMET 2025 and your English speaking and writing are weak then you still have time to improve for 2026 exams first you should start with basic English grammar and vocabulary then daily read English newspapers or books and try to write small paragraphs on simple topics also start watching English videos or news with subtitles to improve speaking take free online courses for CAT and OMET preparation or join coaching from July onwards plan a daily schedule that includes English practice and mock tests if you start now with focus and regular effort you can be ready for CAT and OMET 2026 and improve your English communication too

After writing the correct user id and password for the ugcet varification link Im still not able to open it. I have contacted the kea office but no one is answering the call. What should I do?

Avanishsree VP 27th Jun, 2025

If you’re unable to access the UGCET (KCET) verification link despite entering the correct credentials, follow these steps:

  1. Clear Browser Cache or Use a Different Browser: Sometimes browser cache or compatibility issues prevent the portal from loading properly. Try using Chrome or Firefox in incognito mode.
  2. Check the Official KEA Notices: Visit kea.kar.nic.in (https://kea.kar.nic.in/) and check for any technical issue updates or scheduled maintenance messages.
  3. Try Logging in During Off-Peak Hours: Access the portal late at night or early in the morning, as high traffic can sometimes cause login failures.
  4. Use a Laptop or Desktop if Using Mobile: Some KEA verification links work better on desktops than on mobile phones.
  5. Visit KEA Office in Person: If the issue remains unresolved and phone calls are not being answered, visiting the KEA office directly may be the fastest way to resolve login or technical verification issues.

Is it possible to join ME course without writing gate or tance exams

Samriddha Pal 5th Jun, 2025

Hello,

Yes, it is possible to join an ME without writing GATE. You can consider universities such as VIT, SRM, and Amity which conduct their own entrance test or take admission based on merit. Several states conduct their own entrance exams like TANCET in Tamil Nadu, PGCET in Karnataka, and MAH-CET in Maharashtra.

Hope this helps. All the best!

In application of UG entrance exam, the computer centre entered my BSc nursing percentage as 78. But I actually has 98%. I provided all marklists. Does this affect my admit card or Eligibility for writing exams

gopi 30th May, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

As long as you have submitted all of the correct mark lists and accompanying documents; with your actual percentage (98%); and the only mention of your computer centre wrongfully recording a mark of 78%, I do not believe it should have any bearing on your qualification or admit card for UG entrance because the exam authority has to look at your documentation during the scrutiny process.

In fact, you should contact the appropriate examination authority or helpline promptly to call attention to the error. I would do this in writing or by official university email, attach copies of your mark sheets and indicate the mistake. At least this way, your eligibility has been clarified so when we get to the selection or counseling stage, it can't be raised there.

After writing polycet where is the best collage for that

Saurabh Yadav 27th May, 2025

Hii,

The top universities rely on your rank after completing the POLYCET. You can be admitted to prestigious government polytechnic colleges if your rank is very high. Among the top ones are:

Government Polytechnic, Hyderabad

Government Polytechnic, Vijayawada

Government Polytechnic, Visakhapatnam

These universities offer better employment opportunities, quality instructors, and affordable tuition. You can also select reputable private colleges if your rank is not very high. Before making a decision, always look at the college's placement, labs, and reviews.
