how do we get a college after writing jee main?

Nitya 27th Sep, 2021
Hey,
Once the results are declared the dates of counselling are released every year, through which a student gets a college.
  • As the JoSAA counselling begins, firstly the candidates have to register themselves on the official website.
  • After this, candidates will have to go for the choice filling process where they will have to fill in their choice of colleges and courses according to their preference.
  • After this two mock seat allocations will be conducted in order to help candidates know their chances of getting a seat into the participating institutes.
  • Seven rounds of seat allotment are conducted. The seat alloted basis of ranks (both CRL and category), home state, preferences and availability.
  • Once the seat is allotted to the candidates they can download the provisional allotment letter and an e-challan as an assurance of seat acceptance via online mode.

DURING NEET APPLICATION I ENTERED MY CASTE CERTIFICATE NUMBER LATER I FOUND SPELLING MISTAKE IN CASTE CERTIFICATE AFTER WRITING EXAM SO IF I APPLY FOR A NEW ONE WILL IT BE PROBLEM DURING COUNSELLING

Subhrajit Mukherjee 24th Sep, 2021

See you must have the caste certificate which has wrong spelling. During the documents verification, you can show both of them and can explain the thing. But if you must produce the old caste certificate or it may create some problem.

Pls explain me how the upsc exam is being held? I want to know in how many levels does it take place and what all are that levels? From writing exam till interview whats the exam pattern and all pls I want to know in detail.

manasa.bodreddy 17th Sep, 2021

Hello dear !

Well , I'll briefly explain about UPSC examination.

Civil services examination is a national wide competitive examination in India is conducted by Union public service commission for recruitment to higher civil services of the government of india .

UPSC examination is conducted in 3 phases

1. A preliminary examination consists of 2 objective - type papers ( General studies paper 1 and general studies paper - 2  ( CSAT)

2. A main examination Is the next level after preliminary which consists of 9 papers of conventional ( essay) type, In which 2 papers are qualifying and only Mark's of 7 are counted.

3.following is the personal interview.

So the successful candidate will sit for 32hrs of examination during the complete process .

You have wide option to choose languages and optional subjects.

But before all this you must meet the eligibility criteria required to appear for the exam

You will get placed till the end only based on your Mark's required for your category .

NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS:-

1.Genral category candidates- 6 attempts

2.OBC - 9

3. Sc/St - unlimited attempts till age 37

Appearing to one attempt one of the papers in the preliminary examination is counted as attempt t, including disqualification/ cancellation of candidate.

Every year cut off varies depending on the vacancies

Hope its helpful

Any queries drop down in the comment box

Good luck

I have qualified jee mains in 2021 but due to some issue i cannot write jee advanced in 2021, so can i write jee advanced in 2022 even without writing jee mains?

Bhawana Kumar 16th Sep, 2021

No, it is not allowed. If you want to give JEE Advanced in specific year, you have to give JEE Mains exams in that year. If you have qualified JEE Mains in 2021, i suggest you to give advanced in 2021 only. Next year, you may or may not be eligible for exam.

Anurag Khanna 25th Sep, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

As the cut-offs were released along with the JEE-Main 2021 result so now it is clear that at what percentile the candidate is eligible for JEE-Advance 2021. As per the NTA, qualifying cut-offs goes like :-

==>> Common Rank List (CRL) - 87.8992241-100.0000000 Percentile

==>> GEN-EWS - 66.2214845-87.8950071 Percentile

==>> Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 68.0234447-87.8950071 Percentile

==>> Scheduled Caste (SC) - 46.8825338-87.8950071 Percentile

==>> Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 34.6728999 87.8474721 Percentile

==>> PwD - 0.0096375-87.8273359 Percentile

So with 71.47 percentile you are qualified for JEE-Advance 2021 and you should start your preparation of JEE-Advance 2021.
