Sharon Rose Student Expert 20th Mar, 2021

Hello,

You can join in Indian Navy or Indian Air Force after graduation through three different ways.

  • Combined Defence Service (CDS): The eligibility criteria is that a candidate must have passed B.E/B.Tech from a recognized board. The age must be in between 19-24 years. This is for Indian Naval Academy. For Indian Airforce a candidate must have passed  Bachelor's Degree from a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor degree in engineering. The age must be in between 20-24 years
  • Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET): The eligibility criteria is that a candidate must have passed B.E/B.Tech with minimum 60% aggregate from a recognized board
  • Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT): A candidate must have passed 3 year bachelor's degree in any discipline or 4 year B.E/B.Tech with minimum 60% aggregate and must have passed 10+2 with minimum 50% aggregate marks in Mathematics and Physics individually from a recognized board. Age must be in between 20-24 years and for Candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India)  the upper age limit is 26 years.

Candidates who are in the final year of the qualifying exam are also eligible to appear for above mentioned examinations. So when you are in the final year of the qualifying exam you can apply for any of these entrance exams and qualify in it. After qualifying in the entrance exam the candidates will be called for SSB interview and the candidates clearing the SSB interview will be called for medical test. A merit list will be prepared based on the marks in written test, SSB interview and medical test. Candidates making it till the merit list will be recommended and such candidates will undergo training for said duration at the respective Academy.

what is the purpose of writing neet exam and is it necessary ? can i become a doctor without writing neet?

Pankhuri Kumari 11th Mar, 2021
Hii!
If you aspire to become a doctor with MBBS degree, then you have to qualify NEET UG entrance exam for that. NEET UG is necessary to enter into medical field or more specifically to be able to call yourself a doctor. No other way is there other than clearing NEET.  However, there are a number of other medical courses where you can get admission without sitting for NEET UG entrance exam such as pharmacy, nursing, physiotherapy etc., The link given below will give you more information -

If you would tell what branch you are thinking of to take admission then I would be able to guide you in a more detailed manner. So for cs and it's specialisation branches you need to score atleast below 42k rank and for core branches a rank 60k will keep you safe.

How to pass exam without writing?

ginnisachdeva02_9364270 Student Expert 22nd Feb, 2021

Hey!

See, it depends on the mode of examination, if it's online then obviously you do not need to write the exam. It will be totally Computer Based Test (CBT). However, you might nedd to use paper pen to do the rough work or to solve the problems. But if the exam is in offline mode then definitely you need to write the exam, it will be paper-pen based. There is no other way.

Hope it helps to clear your dilemma, thankyou!

If you are unhappy doing the course you have enrolled for and you are facing mental stress and its affecting you in a negative way then it is best to leave it and try to find out what course you can do that you have a passion for. Since you have written that you like writing and it relaxes you, you can take up a course in the English Language, i.e., B.A. English.
