Writing
Dear Aspirant,
In this case you have described I would suggest you should attempt the same paper multiple times, atleast 3 times, and then look at the solutions to all the questions you have not got right.
Keep on repeating the papers, do not attempt same paper two times in a row though. For example there is paper 1 you have given on day 1, then paper 2 on day 2 and then paper 3 on day 3. After that repeat, paper 1 on Day 4, Paper 2 on Day 5, and so on.
You can also attempt two papers in one day as the time comes to end.
Hope this helps. Thank you.
Ayushi, if you look at the eligibility criteria for KCET available at our page: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/kcet-eligibility-criteria, for being eligible for KCET, you should have fulfilled the following rules:
Now there are certain other criteria for Children of Defense Personnel, Migrant Candidates of Jammu and Kashmir, Mother Tongue of the Candidates, Children of Members of the Parliament, Children of State and Government Employees. Now if you fulfil any of this criteria, then please do let us know because then the conversion is dependant on which stream you want to apply i.e. Engineering or Medical. Or else you should be appearing for COMEDK. But in general, your CGPA is multiplied by 9.5 and that gives you the percentage. NEET is the entrance examination for admission to MBBS,BDS, Ayush and Veterinary courses across India. It is a National level Entrance examination if you want to study MBBS, BDS, Ayush or Veterinary courses across India. But KCET is a State Level Entrance examination for admission to Engineering, Agricultural and Pharmaceutical courses. So both the exams have different out reaches. If you want to study MBBS/BDS/Ayush/Veterinary courses, NEET is the exam that you have to attempt. And you not appearing for KCET doesn't hold any importance during NEET Counselling. And if you are preparing for NEET, you may as well try our NEET Knockout package: https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-may/ . John. first off, JEE Mains has no minimum aggregate criteria. The 75% minimum aggrgegate is for admission to NITs, IIITs, CFTIs and to be eligible for JEE Advanced which is the entrance examination for admisison to IITs. So, even if you score less than 75%, you are eligible for JEE Mains but admission to NITs, IIITs and CFTIs is difficult. Now how you fared in 11th is not considered for calculating the eligibility criteria for JEE Mains. What matters is your 12th. So let's say you fared poor in your 11th but managed to score real good in 2020, like an aggregate of 75%, not only are you eligible for JEE Advanced, but you are also eligible for admission to NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs. So do not worry a bout your performance in the 11th. If you are afraid you might fare poor, concentrate on 12th to secure the minimum aggregate.
Siri, truth be told, any Educational Institution conducts mock tests tougher than the original examinations. This is a strategy to prepare the student for the worse. Now if you are able attempt 25 and you get 15, you are getting 60% of your answers right. That is not a bad thing. In JEE Mains, you will go as far as even 80 and above looking at Narayana's strategy. This is not the time for you to panic and be disappointed in your performance. So continue to attempt mock tests not just given by the College but also available in other sources. Divide the syllabus into Class 11 and Class 12 and the topics as "Need to Learn", "Weak" and "Strong". Now it is important to check the weightage of each topic. In Physics, Modern Physics take the top slot with 5 questions. Heat and Thermodynamics, Optics, Current Electricity, Elcetrostatics get 3 questions each. Magnetic has 2 questions and the rest get 1 question each. In Chemistry, Transition Elements and Coordination Chemistry, Periodic Table and Representative elements take 3 questions slot. Thermodynamics and Gaseous state, Atomic structure, Chemical Bonding, Chemical and Iconic Equilibrium, Solid State and Surface Chemistry and Nuclear Chemistry and Environment get 2 questions slot eacch and the remaining get 1 question each.In Mathematics, Co-ordinate Geometry gets 5 questions. Limits, Continuity and Differentiability, Integral Calculus get 3 questions slot each. The rest get 2 and 1 questions slot. For complete breakdown, please read our article: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-syllabus-weightage . Once you complete a topic, try to practise the concepts and write down the important points and paste them somewhere that you can see. Practise questions from that topic.
