In situations like this, where there are multiple questions with internal choices, it's understandable that managing time effectively can be challenging. However, forgetting to provide an answer to one of the questions, especially when there's an internal choice, can indeed affect your overall score in that particular section.
When examiners evaluate answer scripts, they typically allocate marks based on the content provided. If you've missed answering one question altogether, you may miss out on potential marks associated with that question.
That said, examiners are usually instructed to assess the content of each response comprehensively. If your answers to the other questions demonstrate a strong understanding of the topics and meet the criteria for scoring, you can still earn a respectable score for the section. However, the missed question would result in lost marks.
Overall, while forgetting to answer one question can impact your score, focusing on providing thorough and accurate responses to the questions you do attempt can help mitigate any potential loss of marks.
Hii
Answering your question, first you should have mentioned if it was your regular school exam or boards exam. If it was your school exam, then you can talk to your teacher and you can be given marks. But if it was your boards exam then it totally depends on the person who is going to evaluate your paper. If the person is considerate, he or she may give you marks but if not so you may loose marks in those particular questions. Just hope for the best.
Hi
hope you doing well
Yes, if you reappear for the 12th board exam through NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) in 2024 and pass, you will be considered eligible for JEE Advanced 2024.
Eligibility for NIOS:
Ensure you take the required subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) in your NIOS registration.
Confirm that your NIOS results will be declared before the JEE Advanced 2024 registration deadline. Delayed results may cause eligibility issues.
You’ll still need to qualify through JEE Mains 2024 to become eligible for JEE Advanced 2024.
Hope you got it and find it useful
Best Wishes.
