Solution : Let $x$ be the number of days Tapas takes to complete the whole work.
So, Mihir takes = 2$x$ days
According to the question,
$\frac{1}{x}+\frac{1}{2x}=\frac{1}{12}$
$⇒\frac{2+1}{2x}=\frac{1}{12}$
$ herefore x$ = $\frac{3×12}{2}$ = 18 days
Hence, the correct answer is 18 days.
