Can anyone share their experience about campus life at Galgotias University for MBA students?

Simran Vohra 10th Jul, 2025

From my research and from what some students shared online the campus is nice and clean, and the environment is also friendly. For MBA, they offer specializations like Marketing, HR, Finance, etc. The faculty and infrastructure is also very good but you have to do more hardwork to get placed here. Some students said they got placed in good companies while some said they didn't.The average package here is 3 to 4 lakhs Per annum.

So, overall it's a decent college. This information is just based on my research , I am not a student there.

With OCET rank 9,184 , you are not eligible for GKVK Bangalore under 3A or SNQ quotas.

However, colleges like Mandya and Hassan remain a good fit and are worth targeting.

I am confused whether I should go for online bcom from a Central University (Aligarh Muslim University) or local colleges with a regular bcom degree in my city

Fathima Rishna 10th Jul, 2025

Dear learner,

The decision to choose between an online Bcom degree from a central university like Aligarh Muslim University and a regular Bcom degree from a local colleges in your city depends upon various factors.

Distance education from a central university approved by UGC and DEB is a great option if you are looking for a parallel career goals like CA , CMA , UPSC or you're working.  Flexibility amd affordability are also major advantages of distance learning.

On the other hand, if you prefer classroom learning, peer interaction and college experience with events and exposure, then a regular  Bcom degree from a well reputed college in your town.

For bsc agriculture how many cutoff in cuet categery ews

Nikita shahi 9th Jul, 2025

Hii

If you want to take admission in B.Sc. Agriculture through CUET 2025 belongs to the EWS (Economically Weaker Section) category, so understanding the cut-off trends is very important. Based on the data the cut-off for B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture at Banaras Hindu University (BHU) for EWS candidates was approximately 491.275 (normalized score). The general category cut-off was around 498.5, which means that the difference between EWS and general cut-offs was very less .But everyone the cutoff changes it's depend on factors like competition, students appearing this year, difficulty level of paper.

The cut-off scores can vary slightly depending on different universities; it can be central or state university.

For EWS category students, a CUET normalized score around 491–495 or more would increase your chances of getting B.Sc. Agriculture at a top central university. You can check the link below to get more information.

Msc agriculture admission 2025

Nikita shahi 10th Jul, 2025

Hello,

MSc Agriculture is a popular and demanding postgraduate course among students from a life science or agriculture background. Whether you want to take admission into this course usually depends on the entrance exam. Since this course is offered by various government and private universities.

If you are from a BSc Agriculture or related background. These courses help you to build expertise in subjects like Agronomy, Horticulture, Plant Pathology, Genetics, and more. It opens doors to careers in teaching, research, agribusiness companies, government departments, and even allows you to do PhD-level studies.

Let’s have a look at how you can get admission.

First thing you have to understand is that you must have completed BSc Agriculture or a related undergraduate degree such as BSc Horticulture, BSc Forestry, or BSc in Agronomy, depending on the university’s eligibility criteria. Most universities require a minimum percentage in graduation, usually around 50–60%. Some institutes may also have age limits or specific subject requirements before applying you have to check properly.

Mostly the admission process for MSc Agriculture depends on entrance exams, but in some universities, direct admission or it can be through merit-based admission.

The most popular entrance exam for MSc Agriculture is ICAR AIEEA PG (Indian Council of Agricultural Research - All India Entrance Examination for Admission). This exam is conducted every year for admission into the top agricultural universities in India. ICAR-affiliated universities reserve around 25% of their PG seats for ICAR candidates, while the rest seats are filled by state-level candidates through their own entrance exams.

Other than ICAR, many universities conduct their own entrance tests. Like PAU (Punjab Agricultural University)and, GBPUAT (Pantnagar University) holds separate exams. Some universities also accept CUET PG, depending on their affiliation.

For these exams, you have to prepare from your graduation-level subjects, especially core topics like agronomy, soil science, genetics, etc. Once you qualify for the entrance, you will have to go through counseling rounds and document verification. Some universities may also conduct interviews or group discussions, but that depends on the institution.

To stay updated, regularly check the official websites of ICAR, CUET PG, and the universities where you want to apply. Admission forms are usually released between March and May, and exams are held around June or July.
