Last year for branches like Computer science and Engineering the cutt off was between 10,000-15000 for General category students and branches like mechanical, civil or ECE their cutt off was between 20,000-40,000.For categories like SC,ST or OBC the cutt offs go much higher.

Generally, private colleges show the off-campus placements also as too boost their record and attract large crowds. But they don't mention it to be off-campus so a student thinks that what a great college it is.
So yes, there is a great possibility that the 47 LPA package is off campus.
