Sir, I had 6 subjects in 12th CBSE. I failed in chemistry. I was declared pass as I had 6 subjects, but my pcb % is 55 % and i am OBC .Am I eligible for NEET? if i give retest and pass in chemistry exam.

Lahari 19th Jul, 2020

Hello Amit, the eligibility criteria for NEET is a student must pass Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology (inclusing practical test) or any other elective subject  with english.

For OBC category students the minimum perecntage in PCB should be 40%. You have more than 40% but it is mandatory for the candidate to pass in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

You are eligible for NEET  only if you pass in chemistry exam and yes you can apply for NEET after getting pass marks in chemistry exam.

Don't lose hope. Be Confident.

All the best!

My son has taken PES entrance exam. He is interested in Computer Science. His Ranking in CET is 20525. What is the Fees for students getting seat in PES through CET, COMEDK, PES entrance test and finally management quota(per year)

Raja 23rd Aug, 2020

First of all, there should not be any difference in fees for students admitted through different examination or tests. All the students are pooled in the same branches of their choice irrespective of the entrance examination they took. So do not worry if the admission is from an entrance exam. The management quota fees, however, must be slightly more. You will have to check that with college authorities one to get an exact figure.
Good luck!

what are my prospects of job in hr if I have done advanced diploma in technology and management from Indian institute of technology and management if I have never done any kind of job before and I am 43 years old

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 23rd Aug, 2020
Hello,

With you age above 40 and that too with no job experience, it would be tough for you to get a job because most of the companies look for young individuals especially with some work experience.
You chances are very low but still you can try, i would suggest you to post your resume on websites like Naukri.com,indeed.in,monster.com etc.

I hope this helps.

Which is better career option for teaching line: B.Sc or B.Sc.(Honours) ?

pdwords Student Expert 14th Jul, 2020

Hello,

BSc(Hons) is a specialized program which provides you more in-depth information compared to BSc Degree where it's just amalgamation of subjects with no scope for specialization as such.

So, in case you have interest in particular subject for example Chemistry so after pursuing Major in Chemistry, you can further pursue Master's degree in the relavant discipline, in case you want to teach in school you need to have BEd or DEd or any other teacher's training program recognized by NCTE. Academically or even to pursue teaching, it's best you go for Hons program, as your area of specialization will provide you in-depth knowledge.
