If you have done your schooling from Chandigarh and passed Mathematics (whether as a main subject or additional) then there's a chance. You can also get idea from the ranking chart that is displayed on the PU website after submitting your online application. I your rank is within 350 then you would get admission.

If you have completed schooling from outside Chandigarh ia really difficult then it is really difficult to get admission.

JEE Main is a common entrance test is conducted at nation level to facilitate the admission of students in UG course like B.TECH,B.E,B.Arch in various govt. and private engineering colleges.

The candidates appearing for JEE Main should be an Indian citizen and must have passed 12th with 5 subjects with Math and Phy as compulsory subjects.

Yes,you are eligible to write JEE Main but you will be able to get admission in IIT ,NIT if you score 75% in your 12th or are among top 20 percentile in JEE Main.

Below are some details of these colleges which will help you to compare between them and choose the best one for you:

ECC-Although the faculties are pretty good, there is no such good placement for BA in literature but overall the placement record is 95% including all different courses. The highest package offered was 5LPA and the average is around 3LPA.

LU-this college also has some good faculties but only few and in terms of placement if we see then it has offered highest package of 10 LPA and average of 2.5 LPA.

BHU-IT is a very reputed college and also a best one for BA courses. The faculties are of professional level and are always ready to help you in each an every possible way. Also, you'll feel a good atmosphere in  that college. Talking about the placement it has offered the highest package of 1.04 cr. And and an average package of 8-9LPA.

So on these information I would suggest you to go for BHU and rest is totally upon you.

No you have you have pass at least 5 subjects including pcm as you are telling you have one reappear, you are not eligible for taking admission in college you can prepare for reappear and getting good percentage will help in taking admission in top college.
