After seat freezing in Jgec how can I get admission?? Tell me the procedure?? Is there recured physical verification in this corona situation? Can I get admission from 2020-2021??

mjaisinghani62 4th Oct, 2020

Hello aspirant

Jalpaiguri government Engineering college is the second oldest engineering college of West Bengal. It is affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam University.

After seat freezing in jgec, you will be called at reporting centre. You will have to go to reporting centre with necessary documents like x mark sheet, xii mark sheet, c and xii passing certificates, admit card, adhaar card etc. At reporting centre you will be asked whether you will stick to the college or you want to try in next round,

If you say you want to go for next round they will shift your name for next round and then same procedure will be repeated.

if you say ,you are fine with that college, you will have to pay seat allotment fees which is 5000 in government colleges and 20,000 in private colleges. You will have to submit the documents   once you select the college you won't be able to try another college except spot round which will be taken unofficially.

As there is still risk of Covid 19 infection. Safety measures are taken in examination centres and counselling centres , admission reporting centres.

You will be get checked your temperature. Social distancing is followed . Mask , gloves are  compulsory

i have also applied for bhms and bams and bpt i have scored 210 marks in neet having obc quota can i get good government college in delhi in these courses????

Rashmita Paul 4th Oct, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

For BPT one must score above 300+. For  BAMS one must score 420+  for general category for government college. For private it is 300+. Last years cut-off for BHMS is 320-300 for government college. For private college one must get 200 marks.   As your NEET score is  210. So your Overall Percentile is: 64.05 - 64.65  and when it comes to rank, your Predicted Rank is : 501348 - 576498  . Depends upon last years cut-off. Adding it with 15% All India quota  and 85% state quota seats in government colleges.

Use this to predict  the colleges by using this predictor link:

My SC rank is 11710 and CRL is 212780 can i get SVNIT Surat Integrated Bsc + Msc course in chemistry till CSAB round

ARYAN SAGAR 4th Oct, 2020
Dear student,

As you have secured 11710 rank from SC category and 212780 ranks from your general category in JEE Mains 2020, then there is no chance that you can get any NIT or any other good IIIT.
Because for getting a seat in SC category your rank must lie within under 5000 rank and from general category it should be under 30000.
Now if you want a seat in SVNIT Surat then in jossa all rounds counselling you will not get any seat but there is a chance that you might get 5 year integrated course in chemistry from SVNIT Surat in CSAB counselling.
As per the last year cutoff closing ranks during the round 2 of CSAB counselling there was a chance that with this much CRL rank one can get 5 year integrated course for chemistry. But this year there is no surety that the seats will remain vacant.
If you want to try your luck then you can go for it because in CSAB counselling chances of getting seats are increased, if the seats are vacant. If the seats remain vacant then yes, there might be a chance that you can get 5 year integrated course in chemistry this year in SVNIT Surat.

if i got admission in nit patna maths then any chances for branch change

vishnupandey 4th Oct, 2020
Hello aspirant
Many students take admissions in college ignoring their choice of course and try to change their branch after 1st year. Changing a branch is very competitive not only in nit but in any college. There are very less Chance of branch change as it depends on various factors. You will have to be top ranker in your college as well as there must be vacant seat in branch you desired to change.

Branch change factors-
1. You must have to be a top ranker if you are trying for cs/ it .
2. Competition is less in branches like mechanical, civil, biotechnology etc.
3. Number of vacant seat in your preferred Branch.

You can try your best there are chances that you might get your desired branch if you work hard throughout the year.

Hope this will help

Best of luck.
