According to the last some years cut offs you have very good opportunity of getting seat in both B.Sc agri as well as in Horticulture. The chances are more in Horticulture as its cut offs are very much higher than that of your rank. Also in B.Sc agri you have good chances but as cut offs may vary year to year so I would like to suggest you to make good planning before admission process.

As I see your rank is under 500 in Gate Instrumentation ,you should get some of the PSU jobs as per previous year's cutoff. PSU like NPCIL, ONGC may give you interview call. But PSU like NTPC,BHEL ,it is quite difficult. But if you have a quota then you would surely get psu jobs.

Yes BSF retired person is eligible for Ex-service man quota in Tamilnadu state but you have to follow some of criteria and it will depends which entrance test or exam you will appear because it is depends upon exam .
