Hilag Shah 4th Oct, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

If the college requires your PCM marks(like in BITSAT) then you should provide the 135 marks information and if the college requires overall marks then you can add your 4th and 5th subject into it.If nothing is mentioned go by the second choice.I hope your query is solved.Best of luck.

KCET ranking still not showing up; and no one is picking up phone to answer. It seems they are least bother. Also, I dont understand what is the point to discuss here in the forum unless "Career 360" take any action on behalf of students.

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 25th Aug, 2020

Jai, first off, there can be 3 reasons why a rank might not have been assigned in KCET:

  1. Your 12th marks missing
  2. You must have marked the code inversion wrong
  3. Revaluation of your 12th means your marks must have changed and a new rank needs to be assignment.

So technically, these 3 pointers only can happen from a Candidate's side and not KEA's. Second,  once you correct this error, it takes atleast 3-4 business days to assign a rank. Third, we at "Careers360" are no way authorised to force an authoritative body to take an action. We are an education platform wherein we "help students with their queries regarding their Careers and Edcuation". We are not a complaint forum and we do not take the feedback to the Authorities in question. So all we can suggest is reach out to the KEA helpdesk at: [email protected] . Mail them from your Registered email id. Mention that you have missed mentioning your QE marks initially but you updated them now and are awaiting your Rank. They will respond.

I have applied for both b.arch and b.planning. The exam duration is 3 and 1/2 hours. When should i attend palnning based questions , at the last minute or at the time of my choice?? Can I utilise the whole time for b.arch ? Is there any separate time for both?

Sharon Rose Student Expert 25th Aug, 2020

Hello,

Candidates who choosed both B.Arch and B.Planning will have to attend exam in one shift only. Exam will be conducted from 3pm-6:30pm for candidates who choosed both B.Arch and B.Planning. Mathematics and Aptitude will be common for B.Arch and B.Plan for B.arch there will be a drawing test which is pen and paper based test and B.Plan has planning test which is Computer based test. SO it is your wish which you want to attempt first you can first attempt drawing test first and then go for Planning test if you still got time. You may leave Planning test if you do not wish to attempt.

What should I choose NIT trichy ECE vs NIT kurukshetra IT

Ayush 4th Oct, 2020

Hello aspirant ,

Hope you are doing well.

As per your question, both of the NITs have their good standards. So As per department wise we should compare their placement package through which we can select best of two.

1) NIT trichy:-

They offer an average CTC package of 6 to 7LPA  and an international package offer of $125000.

2) NIT kurukshetra:-

They offer an average package if 8.25LPA and highest CTC package of 40LPA.

So as per their placement comparison NIT kurukshetra have better figure compared to NIT trichy. So you can choose NIT kurukshetra as far as I am concerned but you can choose as per your convenience too as both of the NITs are good.

Hope this information helps you out. Thank you.
