What is the difference between Bsc data science and BSc IT (data science) in terms of curriculum? Which is more useful?

Garima Prachi 25th Aug, 2020
BSc Data Science focuses on statistics, big data analytics, machine learning and related aspects which make you understand the problems/phenomena with respect to a set of real world data whereas BSc IT revolves around the processing and management of information in a systematic way through the subjects technical communication skills , data structure using c language, content management system, etc.
So you can have a rough idea about the two courses but which one is better is something only you can decide as you will know better which subject interests you more.

Prachi Pant 4th Oct, 2020

Hi Pooja

So you want to pursue Chemistry hons in DU. 92.3% is a decent score and you'll get a nice college as further cut offs are released. As per previous cut off trends, I can estimate few colleges for you that you may get in 2nd or 3rd cut offs -

1. Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Science

2. Deshbandhu College

3. Kalindi College (W)

4. Rajdhani College

5. Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences (W)

6. Shivaji College

7. Swami Shraddhanand College

8. Zakir Hussain College

These are actually some predicted colleges as per previous cut offs of DU. You'll surely get a seat in any of these colleges. And as further cut offs are released you may get more better college options but you should always secure a seat first and don't wait for the last moment.

Akram Khan 25th Aug, 2020

Hi,

To become and mbbs doctor the baisc educational eligibility is -

One should have passed 10+2 with physics, chemistry and biology.

To take admission for mbbs course in India you have to qualify the NEET exam.

So affer 10th you should do 10+2 in science stream with Physics, chemistry and biology subjects. So you should take admission in 11th class with pcb group.

You should also start preparation of NEET exam sidwise. Download the currently available neet syllabus. Prepare the study plan and start your preparation. As it is seen that most of the question come directly from ncerts you must read them. Also buy any one good objective books of each subject of neet syllabus.

You can also take help from the neet knockout program of careers360 - https://learn.careers360.com/knockoutfull-neet-may/?icn=neet-knockout-lpage&ici=search-section_c360-home

DGO is post graduate diploma in Gynecology and Obstetrics.  after completing your mbbs you will be eligible to apply for this course.

So right now you should focus on your neet exam preparation and class 12th studies so that you can get a good MBBS seat.

I got 965 marks in 12th . so did I get any free seat in bsc. agriculture?. because I am from poor family. I hope there will be a free seat for me.

Raja 29th Aug, 2020

You will have to check with college authorities for which you are applying. There are many central and state governments scholarships provided to economically weaker students for their higher studies. You will have to just check which schemes are applicable for you. Apply for those scholarships and if you are good enough you will surely get them. Many private organisations also offer scholarships based on merit and need. So look for those too!
Good luck!
