I failed in class 10 in science subject but passed class 10. i took pcb stream in class 11th

kumardurgesh1802 1st Feb, 2025

Hello Manya,

Since you have passed Class 10 overall and took PCB in Class 11 , you can continue your studies without any major issues. However, some colleges or entrance exams may have specific eligibility criteria requiring a minimum percentage in Science and Math in Class 10 .

If you are aiming for medical or science-related courses , ensure you meet the eligibility criteria for exams like NEET or other university admissions. If needed, you can reappear for the failed Science subject through improvement exams to strengthen your academic record.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

Prachi Kumari 1st Feb, 2025

Hello,

You can reappear for your Class 12 Biology exam. Here’s what you need to know:

  1. Compartment Exam – Most boards, like CBSE and state boards, allow students to take a compartment exam if they miss one subject due to emergencies.
  2. Medical Emergency Consideration – If you have medical proof, some boards may allow you to take the exam later.
  3. Re-exam Application – You may need to apply through your school or board for a re-exam.
  4. Fail Status – If you don’t appear for the re-exam, you may be marked as "Absent" or "Failed."

Hope it helps !

Right now I am in 12th class, can I do BSc along with preparing for NEET?

Devraj Student Expert 1st Feb, 2025

Hi,

Yes, you can definitely pursue Bachelor of Science along with preparing for NEET. It will totally depend on you how dedicated and handworker you are , many students pursue Bsc along with NEET but after few days maximum students give up. If you are very determined and think that you will manage than you can take admission in B.Sc and can manage both at the same time.

Hope this information will help you

can I drop in the first year of bsc for neet preparation

Devraj Student Expert 1st Feb, 2025

Hi,

Yes, you can definitely drop in the first year of Bachelor of Science for the NEET preparation. Taking a drop by pursuing a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree while preparing for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) can be challenging but is certainly possible.

Here are some of the tips that can help you to manage both Bsc and NEET together.

Create a study plan and  make timetable. Know the exam pattern and syllabus for both courses. Develop a realistic study plan that includes specific goals, timelines, and study hours for both your B.Sc. coursework and NEET preparation.
