i have to give 11th finals in march but honestly Im more interested in science i got 91% in 10th and Im doing commerce (Computers maths). Is it possible to switch to science in 12th (PCB) please give me the procedure and the limitations. And what degree I can pursue

Prachi Kumari 20th Feb, 2025

Hello,

Yes, switching from Commerce with Maths to Science (PCB) in 12th is possible but challenging. Here’s how:

Procedure :-

  • Check School Policy – Schools usually don’t allow stream changes in 12th. Some may consider it based on performance and seat availability.
  • Request Transfer – Speak to your principal and submit an application explaining your interest in Science.
  • Change Schools (if needed) – Some schools allow stream changes; you may need to transfer.
  • Bridge the Gap – Study 11th Science subjects independently to catch up.

Limitations :-

  • Schools rarely permit stream changes after 11th.
  • You must cover 11th Science syllabus independently.
  • Competitive exams (NEET) require 2 years of preparation.

Degrees you can pursue :-

  • Medical – MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BPT
  • Biotechnology – B.Sc. Biotech, B.Tech Biotech
  • Pharmacy – B.Pharm
  • Research – B.Sc. in Biology, Microbiology, Genetics
  • Allied Health Sciences – Nursing, Radiology, Physiotherapy

Hope you find it useful !

Can anyone specify all the documents required for Neet form filling and also wanted to know that my permanent addresses different from current address so what documents will be required for that

Tanya Gupta 19th Feb, 2025

For NEET 2025 form filling, you need essential documents like a recent passport-size photograph, postcard-size photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression, and a valid government ID (Aadhaar card, PAN card, or passport). Additionally, you require your Class 10 and 12 mark sheets or certificates, a category certificate (if applicable), and a PwD certificate (if applicable). If your permanent address differs from your current address, you generally don’t need additional documents for NEET registration. However, for verification purposes later, you may keep address proof such as an Aadhaar card, rent agreement, or domicile certificate ready.

hello sir i got 10th 75 % and 12th 58% can i can apply for big mnc like goole ,amason wipro, tcs afer btech or i will face problem in placement

Tanya Gupta 19th Feb, 2025

Your 10th (75%) and 12th (58%) marks may pose challenges in placements for top MNCs like Google, Amazon, Wipro, and TCS, as many companies set a minimum academic cutoff (often 60% or 65% throughout). However, some companies may focus more on your B.Tech performance, technical skills, projects, and coding abilities rather than past academics. To improve your chances, build a strong resume with relevant certifications, internships, and competitive coding experience. Gaining expertise in programming, DSA, and real-world projects will help you stand out. Some MNCs also allow lateral entry after gaining industry experience, so focus on skill development and networking.

I have completed dual degree one time

Poral Siddartha (siddu) 19th Feb, 2025

Since you've already completed a dual degree once, pursuing another may not always be necessary or feasible. Here’s what you can do next:

1. Check University & UGC Guidelines – Confirm if pursuing a second dual degree is allowed by your institution and regulatory bodies.

2. Consider a Specialized Course – Instead of another dual degree, a master's, certification, or diploma in a specific field (like AI, food processing, or material management) could add more value.

3. Evaluate Career Goals – If your goal is career growth, look for internships, research opportunities, or industry-relevant certifications.

4. Prepare for GATE – Since you want to do a B.Tech in Material Management, GATE preparation will help you secure admission to a top government college.

My daughter got 76.75 percentile in JEE Main year 2025, she is under SC category, know about her ranking

Kenma Kozume 18th Feb, 2025

hi. ,

Based on the available data, a JEE Main score of 76.75 marks for a candidate in the Scheduled Caste (SC) category is likely to result in a percentile below the qualifying cutoff for JEE Advanced. The qualifying percentile for SC candidates in 2024 was 60.09.

While exact rank predictions are challenging due to annual variations in exam difficulty and candidate performance, historically, SC candidates with scores around 76.75 marks have found it difficult to meet the qualifying percentile for JEE Advanced.

My daughter got 76.75 percentile in JEE Main session1. out quota is SC. I want to know for CS or ECE if we can get seat in any of the NIT or GFTIs. Our home station is Karnataka

Poral Siddartha (siddu) 19th Feb, 2025

With a 76.75 percentile in JEE Main (SC category, Karnataka home state), getting CSE or ECE at top NITs (like NIT Surathkal) is difficult since past SC cutoffs for these branches were much lower in rank.

However, your daughter may have a chance in other NITs, GFTIs, or different engineering branches. Consider:

1. JoSAA counseling for available options.

2. State engineering colleges for better chances.

3. Other branches like Civil, Chemical, or Metallurgy with lower cutoffs.

Final admission depends on cutoffs, rank trends, and seat availability.
