I want high weightage topics in 12 and 11 th class for jee mains

SEJAL JAIN 22nd Oct, 2025

Hello

If you're preparing for JEE Mains, it's smart to focus on high-weightage topics from both 11th and 12th. In Physics, give time to Thermodynamics, Current Electricity, and Modern Physics. For Maths, focus on Calculus, Vectors & 3D, and Probability—they often carry good marks. In Chemistry, master Organic Chemistry, Coordination Compounds, and Chemical Bonding. These topics are not just about scoring, but also concept-based, so practice well. Use NCERT for Chemistry—it’s gold. Solve previous year papers to spot patterns. And most importantly, stay consistent and don’t ignore your weak areas.

Prachi Kumari 23rd Oct, 2025

Hello,

Yes, there is an ex-servicemen (Ex-Servicemen) quota for ME Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) admissions through TANCET (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test). This reservation is part of the special category seats for Tamil Nadu natives.

According to the TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) guidelines, 8 seats in University Departments, 34 in University Colleges, and 108 in Government and Government-aided Colleges are reserved for the sons and daughters of ex-servicemen. This totals 150 seats across various institutions.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • You must be a native of Tamil Nadu.

  • You should be the son or daughter of an ex-serviceman.

  • You need to provide relevant documents, such as the parent’s discharge certificate and ID card, to claim this quota.

This quota is available only to Tamil Nadu natives. If you are not a native of Tamil Nadu, you may not be eligible for this reservation.

Hope it helps !
