After doing d.el.ed can I go for b.ed? Without graduation

Prachi Kumari 16th Apr, 2025

Hello,

Yes, after completing D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education), you can pursue B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) without a graduation degree.

However, this may depend on the specific rules of the university or institution you are applying to. Generally, D.El.Ed is considered as a valid qualification for entering B.Ed programs in some cases.

It’s a good idea to check with the institution where you plan to apply for the exact eligibility criteria.

Lets begin my name is vaibhav I just entered in 12 th this year , when I was in 10 th I was in VMC Anand vihar top batch known as illuminati batch but then I left it in starting of 11 th and joined FIITJEE thinking will get better teachers but I didnt they put me in the lowest batch teachers were very bad they didnt teach properly now my 11 th is wasted I was thinking to rejoin VMC and repeat class 11 th in illuminati batch only ,means taking a gap year between 11th and 12th and doing 12 th in next year is this a good plan need urgent advice

Prachi Kumari 16th Apr, 2025

Hi Vaibhav!

I understand you're in a tough spot, but it's great you're thinking ahead. Here's my advice:

If you feel that your 11th year wasn't productive and you need to catch up, taking a gap year to repeat 11th with better guidance could be a good choice. The Illuminati batch at VMC is known for its strong teachers and structured approach, so it might give you the support you're looking for. However, keep in mind that a gap year also means you'll be under pressure to cover a lot of material quickly, and you'll need a lot of discipline and focus.

Before you make a decision, here are a few things to consider:

  1. Self-Evaluation: Are you motivated enough to dedicate a year just for preparation? If yes, it could be worth it.

  2. Focus on 12th: Since you’re going to repeat 11th, you should also ensure you’re able to manage 12th syllabus well after that.

  3. Effect on College Plans: Taking a gap year could impact your college applications if you’re aiming for specific deadlines, so check those first.

It’s a big decision, but if you're really committed to improving and have a clear plan, it could help you perform better in the long run.

Best of luck !

With low 50 % percentage can I get admission in pt chirangi lal govt clg krnl in bsc bio technology

Aman Kar 16th Apr, 2025

Based on your percentage of marks, here is a detailed information about admission in B.Sc Biotechnology after 10+2 in Pt. Chiranji Lal Sharma Govt. College, Karnal.

Minimum Eligibility Criteria:

  • Several sources indicate that the minimum aggregate percentage required in the 10+2 examination (with a Science background, including Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as mandatory subjects) is 50% for the general category .
  • One source mentions a minimum of 40% in the 12th for general category students for the B.Sc. program in general at this college.
  • For reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC), the minimum percentage might be lower, often around 45%.

Your Percentage:

  • You mentioned having a 50% percentage.

Likelihood of Admission:

  • Based on the general eligibility criteria of 50% mentioned in some sources, you might be eligible to apply.
  • However, admission to B.Sc. Biotechnology at Pt. Chiranji Lal Sharma Govt. College, Karnal can be merit-based . This means that even if you meet the minimum eligibility, admission will depend on your marks compared to other applicants.
  • If the number of applicants with higher percentages is large, your chances of getting admission might be lower.
  • It's also possible that the college might have a slightly higher cutoff percentage for B.Sc. Biotechnology specifically, although the general B.Sc. eligibility seems to be around 40-50%.

Factors to consider

Specific Cutoff: The actual cutoff percentage for the B.Sc. Biotechnology program for the academic year 2025 will be determined after all applications are received. This cutoff can vary each year based on the number of applicants and their scores.

· Category: If you belong to a reserved category (SC/ST/OBC), you might have a slightly better chance as the minimum percentage requirement is often relaxed for these categories.

· Admission Process: Pt. Chiranji Lal Sharma Govt. College generally follows a merit-based admission process for its B.Sc. programs, considering the marks obtained in the 10+2 examination. However, some courses might have entrance exams if specified by the college. For B.Sc. Biotechnology, the information suggests it's primarily merit-based.

· Number of Seats: The number of seats available for B.Sc. Biotechnology is also a crucial factor. One source indicates 80 seats are available for B.Sc. Medical with Biotechnology. It's important to note if "Medical with Biotechnology" has a different cutoff than just "Biotechnology" if such a separate program exists at the college. Another source mentions 160 seats for B.Sc. Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Biotechnology combined, which could imply a limited number of seats specifically for Biotechnology.

Hence, will suggest you to apply, as you have meet the minimum percentage requirement mentioned in some sources, you should definitely apply for the B.Sc. Biotechnology program

Keep an eye on the official website of the college

And if possible contact the admission office directly.

Hope this helps!
