Hello there!

Here is the solution regarding your question.

Given,

T = 127°C  [which is equal to 400 K].

Pi = 1 x 10 dyne / cm²

Pf = 5 x 10 dyne / cm²

Since, the process is Isothermal. Thus,

PiVi = PfVf

Vf = PiVi / Pf

Vf = 1 x 10 / 5 x 10

Vf = 10/5

Vf = 2 litres

Hence, 2 litre volume of gas expanded.

I hope you got your answer.
