There are many universities and colleges like University Of Delhi(or the central universities) and state universities as well in which ever state you are you have an option to go in that ugc affiliated university which offer B.Com as a stream to study and after which you will able to successfully start your career as an accountant (if you want to be) or any other career as well because B.Com makes you a graduate. 

Every university has its own conduct of examination and procedures but most commonly the addmission is merit based.
