It is difficult to land up in central government colleges. Your rack is too high to procure seat in any of the NITs or IIITs. But your can easily get good government colleges under state government.

At this rank you will not get a good NIT/IIIT. But if your state of eligibilty is some north-eastern state, you possibly can through home state quota. Go through counselling process, give it a try.
