Hello P Suman, Last year around 1,45,386 students gave JEE Main paper 2 which is B.Arch paper, and this year 1,38,410 students registered for JEE Main January paper 2 and 1,12,679 student gave the exam,bit this number will increase up to 1.5 lakh in JEE Main April.
so, if you go 88 percentile in JEE Main paper 2 then your rank will be around 16 to 19 thousand after JEE Main April paper.
Here i am writing the closing Cutoff rank for B.arch for some NIT's for All India Quota General category
MNIT Jaipur - 3004
NIT Patna - 6860
NIT Trichy - 1176
NIT Hamirpur - 4361
NIT Nagpur - 3250
so there is very less chance that you will get a NIT but if through Home state quota it will be quite easy for you and if you belong to any category like OBC, SC, ST then your chance of getting NIT will increase very high.
There are many other colleges other than NIT's which offers admission through JEE Main for B.arch you can apply there also.
