We know that, Time= Distance/ Speed

Therefore, the total time= (X/V) + (2X/2V) + (3X/3V) = 3X/V

And, The total distance traveled = X+ 2X+ 3X= 6X

So, Average speed= Total distance/ Total time

Therefore, average speed= (6X)/ (3X/V) = 2V


Thus, the average speed in 2V.
