A permanent magnet in the shape of a thin cylinder of length 10cm has M=10 power6 A/M .calculate magnetization current?

dear student,

According to the problem , M ( intensity of magnetisation ) = 10^6 A / m

l ( length ) = 10 cm = 10 × 10^-2 = 0.1 m

i(m) = magnetisation current

 

By applying simple formulae => M = i(m)/ l 

hence,  i(m) = M × l

 

magnetisation current =10^6 × 0.1 = 10^5 A .
